• Shahi Guzargah - The Royal Trail, known as Shahi Guzargah, is a historic path stretching from Delhi Gate to Lahore Fort. This trail links several heritage sites, including the Shahi Hamam (Turkish Bath), Wazir Khan Mosque, Sonehri (Golden) Mosque, and the tomb of Malik Ayaz, a Mughal governor of Lahore.
• Shahi Hammam - The Shahi Hammam, also referred to as the Wazir Khan Hammam, is a Persian-style bathhouse constructed in Lahore, Pakistan, in 1635 C.E. during Emperor Shah Jahan’s rule. It was built by Ilam-ud-din Ansari, the chief physician to the Mughal Court, who was famously known as Wazir Khan.
• Masjid Wazir Khan - Situated in Lahore’s inner city, the Wazir Khan Mosque is on the tentative list for UNESCO World Heritage status and is one of the most magnificent landmarks in Pakistan’s cultural capital. This splendid mosque is located near the Delhi Gate.
• Sunehri Masjid - The Sunehri Mosque, also called the Talai Mosque, is a mosque from the late Mughal architectural period, located in the Walled City of Lahore.
• Lahore Fort - Known as Shahi Qila, Lahore Fort is located in the historic city of Lahore, Pakistan. Initially constructed in the 11th century, it was almost entirely rebuilt in the 17th century.
• Shalimar Bagh (Shalimar Gardens) - The Shalimar Gardens, also known as the Shalamar Gardens, are a Persian-style garden complex built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1641 AD, located in Lahore, Pakistan. It is one of the most important Mughal Gardens, with construction overseen by Khalilullah Khan, a noble in Shah Jahan’s court.
• Hazuri Bagh - The Hazuri Bagh Baradari is a white marble pavilion situated in the Hazuri Bagh of Lahore, Pakistan. It was constructed by Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the Sikh ruler of Punjab.
• Wagah Border - Every day, just before sunset, a flag-lowering ceremony occurs at the Wagah Border between India and Pakistan. This ceremony, ongoing since 1959, lasts about 45 minutes and begins with high patriotic fervor from both sides of the border. Soldiers march towards the gate, which is opened upon their arrival, and they salute each other before lowering the flags.
