Honest Review - Good, bad, and ugly - The Good - The guide Hasheem did a good job making me feel comfortable about all the activities. He was excellent at taking pictures. He explained to some degree what we were doing next. The Bad - What was included in my package was the quad bike (my legs were exposed and the bike exhaust burned my legs which made my ride less enjoyable. This should be advised to riders.) Dune bashing and Sand boarding was good. I wasn't interested in sand boarding. Wear shoes that work well with sand for ALL activities. Camel ride was okay. I felt really bad doing it because the camel seemed tired and looked abused to some degree. The BBQ dinner was good. There's a variety of ethnic dishes. I didn't like everything but that's my personal taste. They also should have little signs stating what the dishes are because it is self service. Live Show - We were supposed to get belly dancing. There definitely was a belly and dancing but no belly dancing as we know it. They show was boring to me. I tried to pay attention but ultimately I was playing on my phone. They also had a guy who was playing with fire. It was nice but I expected to be entertained and I wasn't. The ugly - For me, and only for me, Hasheem wouldn't drop me off at the bus station. I came to Dubai for the day. I traveled by bus from Abu Dhabi.. I had to book my day and pay way more money just to able to do this tour. I took days to read reviews and finally chose this company. Because I didn't stay in Dubai, I had no hotel as a pick up. I asked for suggestions and received none. Another company where I booked my other tours helped me by giving suggestions. They were sure this guide would be willing to go above and beyond as they were doing, to drop me off at the requested bus station after the show. Because he was kind of mean during our texting about the pick up I didn't think he would. I was correct. He refused many different suggestions. He didn't have to do it but it would have been nice since I went through a lot to specifically do his tour. He did drop me off at a metro station so I could get back to the bus station. Thanks for at least that. Then he tried to convince me and others to give a 5 star rating. He stood over my shoulder when I put 4 stars he said he would drop his position with TripAdvisor. I told him I would be truthful. If I give him 5 stars when I don't feel that way, there's no room for growth when it's needed. Overall, the tour was enjoyable. Would I do it again, no. I would pick a tour without the camel ride. I don't want to contribute to the animals discomfort.
