• Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve - Embark on a 1 hour and 45-minute tour through a 20,000-acre (8,095-hectare) area of tidewater cypress swamp near the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve. The airboat, powered by an aircraft propeller, ensures a swift and smooth journey through the shallow marshes. Expect to see numerous alligators during the warmer months (and on warmer days in winter), some basking on rocks! Your guide might even feed the alligators, providing fantastic photo opportunities.
