La Spezia cooking not to miss! - This was one of the best cooking classes I have experienced. From the moment Massimo and Paola welcomed us to their home right to the end, there was lots of chatter, laughs and the best pasta and tiramasu ever made! The warmth of their kitchen and hospitality is welcoming and very comfortable. I highly recommend not to miss if you are in the La Spezia area.

A unique opportunity to experience Italian home life and cooking - Amazing experience with Daniella who invited us into her home to show us how to cook pasta and tiramisu. Once done we sat outside on her beautiful patio and enjoyed the food we made plus various homemade liquors that she had made herself. A great host, wonderful cook and a delightful experience.

Spezia cooking with Paola - We had an absolutely amazing time with Paula and her husband Massimo. They taught us how to cook two different types of pasta and homemade tiramisu. Their home is immaculate and beautiful located on the hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and spa. We enjoyed a lunch with them with the homemade pasta and tiramisu we made, lemon chill they make from the lemons on their own tree, and local meat and cheese, along with wine and espresso. They were friendly and professional. I cannot recommend them more!

Fun and delicious cooking class - We loved our cooking class with Anna Maria. We were welcomed into her home with warmth and laughter. We enjoyed learning new cooking skills and were very impressed with how delicious the food was. Thank you Anna Maria. My husband, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the day, especially your wonderful hospitality.

Magical pasta class in La Spezia - We celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary in La Spezia with a truly magical experience—a private pasta-making class right in a local Italian home. Coming all the way from Colorado, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful way to spend the day. Together, we crafted homemade spinach ravioli, fettuccine, and topped it all off with the perfect tiramisu, sharing laughter, Prosecco, and warm moments with the kindest couple. It was an unforgettable day that brought us closer to the heart of Italy and each other.

Cesarine Anna and Maria - We spent wonderful time with Anna and Maria, we made tagliatelle with pesto and then ravioli and also tiramisu. For us it was unforgettable experience :) We recommend this cooking class for everyone, we had lot of fun and real italian atmosphere. This cooking class is located in amazing place. Thank you Anna and Maria :)

Warm, inviting, lovely Italian family - This was a highlight of our recent trip to Europe! Anna and her mother were tremendously welcoming. When you envision a warm Italian family welcoming you with homemade food and wine and with open arms, these are the people you are expecting and they did not disappoint. This was our first time booking a cooking excursion but will certainly not be the last. I highly recommend this tour! The address Anna provided was shown on the outside of a home, down a hill from her house. The taxi driver took us past it and we had to ask him to backup, so just be on the lookout for the number she provides and you will be fine. She met us there with her car to take our group in two trips up the hill to her actual home. Also, when we were finished we were having difficulty getting a taxi due to the high number of travelers in town that day, so Anna called her two sons who took our party of 5 back to the port without issue. That was totally unexpected, but so hospitable. If you are on the fence about this tour, just book, you will have a lovely time and walk away feeling like family! Since returning home I have already ordered the pasta maker we used in Anna's home to start making our own pasta in the States!

Phenomenal people, warm & welcoming - Where do we begin...this was a highlight of our vacation! Anna and her Mom (& her son's who drove our party back to port because we couldn't get a taxi) were incredibly hospitable. When you think of Italians and how warm they are welcoming you with fresh food, this is the family you are envisioning. We took at taxi from the cruise port to Anna's house and it was a little hidden so just pay attention to the house numbers and you will be fine. Anna met us right by the address in her car because her house is up a hill and harder to find and took two car loads up to the house for our group of 5. She welcomed us with prosecco, chips and nuts and then we started on the tiramisu. Afterwards we made two types of homemade pasta. The food and company of her family was just fabulous. We got to meet her sweet Chihuahua, Camilla and by the time we left we felt like family. Highly recommend this excursion!

Need to give directions through the Viator app and not another app. - The real address was provided with links that didn’t work very late and using another app besides Viator It was outside the Viator app. We couldn’t find the place and when someone finally helped us it was 1.5 hr walk away and we missed most of it. No way to contact the host of the event. I tried several times to reach out but got no response from Viator or the trip person until it was too late

Terrible Customer Service - Cancelled 30mins Before with NO Refund! - I booked this experience the day before. As I was getting on my train the night before I realised the trains were all striking so I couldn't get to La Spezia that night. I emailed the customer service cesarine.com to ask whether I could be put into the afternoon session. The customer service told me I couldn't. So I booked early, fast and expensive trains to make it in time for my 10am session.
On the day Cesarine.com then emailed me at 9:30am that the cesarine had cancelled and they put me in the 4pm session. I had already booked another afternoon activity so I could not make the 4pm session. I told the customer service this and they said I was getting what I wanted and that I wouldn't get a refund. I never agreed to the 4pm session on the day and was denied getting my money back even though they were the ones who cancelled. They are very inflexible. Very disappointing. I will never be booking this again.
