HORRIBLE - Will never book another excursion with this company - We've been traveling to Mexico and the Dominican Republic for 37 years and always book at least 1 - 2 excursions per trip. This was by far the WORST tour we've ever gone on. I tried to reach out to Viator first to give them a chance to make the situation better and then replied - please give us a review. Anything negative will help make us better. So to start - we were supposed to be picked up at the hotel. Driver was almost 30 minutes late. We had (1) ride to the entrance of the complex. Then we got out and got into Van # 2. We drove a bit longer and got into Bus # 3. Then we drove a bit longer again and guess what - got back into Van # 2. It took us 3 hours to reach the catamaran. We have no idea how long everyone was waiting for us, but by the time we boarded, the boat was full. We had to sit in the back and smell the boat fumes, the area wasn't even cleared out - full of life jackets and snorkel and diving equipment. We had 6 in our group to sit on a u shaped bench. After we boarded, we still had to wait at least another 30 minutes and 20 more people boarded after us. I'm sure this boat was over capacity. There was NO communication at all on what was happening. After our 3rd stop we asked why we were getting back into Van # 2 and was told they thought we were going to Sonoma Island instead of Catalina Island. I asked how they were going to make this better, talked to our drivers boss and he basically laughed me off. It was such a hot day - everyone was dripping in sweat waiting to depart. We finally get to where we were going - anchored out from the island so people could either dive or snorkel. We thought this was a snorkel trip only. Couldn't see anything. Then they put you on little motorized row boats to take you to shore - again, packed you in so there were more people than spots on the boat. We were never told how long we'd be on the island. The only positive - the guys selling fresh seafood on the beach. Next thing we know - it's time to leave. HORRIBLE!!
