The guides Mathew and... - The guides Mathew and Marina were knowledgeable and fun. 5 different food experiences from street stall to restaurants and three different drinks. I returned to a few of the restaurants after the tour during my trip.

A super fun guide made this a super fun experience - Great fun and a safe way to experience the food and street food of Bolivia. Like all these trips, the success is down to the quality of the guide and Matt was terrific - fun, friendly and informative - he made the tour a 5 star experience. Highly recommended.

Walking food tour of La Paz - Marisol was our guide and she was fantastic. We started at the market and got introduced to Api and pastel - my now favourite Bolivian breakfast of spiced corn drink with crispy fried pastry filled with cheese. We did several other stops and we tried foods we would normally not have ordered on our own and they were delicious. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my tricky questions as I love cooking. I would highly recommend this tour and I think it was excellent value. I always love having a meal with a friendly local as you get a perspective of living in their country.

The highlight of our visit to La Paz! - Our tour guide Matt was awesome, he checked if anyone had food restrictions and made sure we were all comfortable with the dishes we were trying. I love that he explained the background of everything we ate and how the dishes differ from similar ones in surrounding countries. One of the places he had planned had run out of food so he was quick to shift gears and gave us several options to pick from to try instead. It was SO much food and it was included in the tour price which we loved.

Ask for Mateo (Matt), a knowledgeable 5 star food and walking English speaking tour guide - Mateo (Matt) is a top notch food and walking English speaking tour guide. His explanations provide the helpful background of the many items that we tried. His knowledge of the local neighborhood and street and food vendors added to the food tour’s enjoyment. We sampled 5 different providers ranging from a street vendor, food stalls and local restaurants. Without spoiling the experience, the foods hit all the favorite Bolivian dishes as well as a beer and tasty cocktail by the tour’s end. Additionally, the walking of the local neighborhood by San Francisco Cathedral allowed your body to help digest all the wonderful food that you just enjoyed. Mateo is a 5 star food and walking tour guide.

Delicious food tour - Did this tour with guide Mateo. It was such a great tour, we learnt so much about Bolivian food but also about culture, history and politics of Bolivia. Mateo was an amazing guide and was so funny and interesting. We particularly loved the anticuchos! Thanks ☺️

Nice food tour - I think we did the food only tour. Had a nice evening walking La Paz and trying local foods. Learnt a lot about local culture and tried some foods we wouldn't have normally. Well worth doing

The food tour was just... - The food tour was just okay. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel it was worth the price. The selection of food was decent, but there wasn’t much explanation or context provided. I had hoped to learn more about Bolivian cuisine and culture, but the tour guide didn’t seem particularly engaged or enthusiastic.
