• La Paz - Departure from La Paz is scheduled for 7:00 am, as per coordination. The journey will take us through the city center and the northern part as we exit La Paz.
• El Alto - Once we leave La Paz, we will enjoy a panoramic view of El Alto city on our way to Chacaltaya.
• Monte Chacaltaya - The route offers a scenic view of Chacaltaya Mountain, which was the world’s highest ski resort until 2003.
• Huayna Potosi - Along the way, we will have a panoramic view of the snow-capped Huayna Potosí, Bolivia’s most popular mountain for reaching 6000 meters.
• Nevado Charquini - A photo stop will be made at the Milluni Cemetery with the snowy Huayna Potosí in the background. We will then visit the Emerald Lagoon - Charquini.
• Cordillera Real - Upon reaching the hike’s starting point at 4930 meters, we will enjoy a panoramic view of the Cordillera Real de La Paz mountain range.
• Imilla Apachita - During the hike, the mountains Imilla Apachita (viewpoint) and María Lloko (peak at 5522 meters) will be visible in the background.
• Huayna Potosi - After a 4 km trek, passing an aqueduct, we will arrive at the Maria Lloko Lagoon (4900 meters), situated between Maria Lloko Peak and the west face of the snowy Huayna Potosí.
• Huayna Potosi - Following the visit to Maria Lloko Lagoon, if feasible, a 30-minute walk will take us to the Huayna Potosí glacier (west side) at an elevation of 5010 meters.

We will then return to the starting point via the same 4.5 km aqueduct route.
