Amazing. - It was one of the best experiences of my life, the quality of the guides and bikes are the best, Nelson and Tinta have a lot of experience and know too much about the death road, just thank you

Great tour - A beautiful tour with really great guides, definitely worth it. If you have sensitive wrists, book a bike with better suspension. Worst case, they will pick you up and you can go by car, which is also a great experience!

Unforgettable experience - After reviewing a couple of providers for the Death Road, we opted for Altitude as they had really good reviews. It did not disappoint! Both Tinta and Nelson did a great job explaining what we were going to do, what we should be cautious about and made regular stops along the way always pointing out where we should be careful. Albeit I ride a bike often, it was my first time on a MTB, and I felt perfectly at ease with both guys! Really an unforgettable experience that we closed off with some beers and crazy stories told by Nelson. Special thanks also to Papa Querido who drove us all the way to the death road and back. Don’t hesitate and book with them!

An incredible adventure - A warm professional framework with incredible arts and shimmer. It's a quick descent. Very secure on delicate passages. You just have to be focused on the road and a bike 🤩 Breakfast at 4800 is tasty. At the mid-course break do not hesitate to do the zip line to fly over the rainforest. Thanks to Oliver and Waldorf for their excellent guidance and to the driver for the technical follow-up

Amazing trip - It was an amazing experience because the tour guides were careful with us! I felt safe throughout the trip Very good the equipment and excellent bicycles. I used a Rocky and it was the best selection because it made the tour incredible. Highly recommended!

Death road biking with One Death Road - Great tour! Really enjoyed the ride and felt safe with the guides. We went with cheaper bikes with front suspension only - be aware it is a gravel road and very rocky/dumpy in sections. Breakfast, morning tea and lunch included. No toilet at the breakfast stop fyi, but there is a basic toilet at the start and a couple of stops along the way. Bring TP! Would definitely recommend Altitude/ One Death Road

Fabulous, fun outing!! Loved it!!! - Fabulous fun outing! Guides were fantastic making sure we felt safe every step of the way, great background and historical info en route, staff very on the ball with communication, picking us up from hotel an hour earlier to avoid strikes in the city, safety briefing, and fun, friendly attitude. Great outing and highly recommend!

Worst experience I’ve had while traveling - This day was a series of bad experiences that were all controllable by the tour group. While we booked for One Death Road, we were actually taken on a tour with Altitude, so I will post this review for both companies. First, our tour was pushed back by two hours. This created a potential conflict with an existing dinner booking that we had for our last night in La Paz. The office and both tour guides assured we’d make it back to the city in time for our reservation. Not only did we make it back to the city a whole hour later than we were promised, the operators made no effort to get us back in time despite saying they would do everything to make it happen. Not once did they check in with us about this either. When we first arrived to the mountain, without any explanation, we were given old, front suspension bikes despite the rest of the group having dual suspension. We’re not mountain bikers so we didn’t say much at first. However, as soon as we started on the gravel part, we felt the difference. There was absolutely no shock absorption and we were in immediate pain. There was no forgiveness on the rocks either. In fact, both my partner and I flipped over the front handlebars while not being reckless whatsoever. We confronted them about having these old bikes but they simply laughed and mocked us by saying “sounds like you wanted to save a few bucks”. Yet we weren’t even given an option to upgrade to a dual suspension bike when booking nor did they contact us to let us know about the option. Even so, what sort of company charges extra for safety? Despite being in the back due to the extreme pain we suffered over the rocks and falling, not one guide checked in with me or my partner throughout the day. Horrible customer service. Would advice you go with any other company, particularly one that actually prioritizes your safety.
