La Paz - Begin with a hotel pick-up in La Paz, departing at 7:00 am for the Tiquina crossing. Arrival is expected by 9:45 am. Cross the lake on rafts and reach Copacabana by 11:45 am.
Copacabana - Arrive in Copacabana around 11:45 am, with an hour of free time before the boat departs at 1:00 pm….
La Paz to Copacabana to Isla del Sol
La Paz - Begin with a hotel pick-up in La Paz, departing at 7:00 am for the Tiquina crossing. Arrival is expected by 9:45 am. Cross the lake on rafts and reach Copacabana by 11:45 am.
Copacabana - Arrive in Copacabana around 11:45 am, with an hour of free time before the boat departs at 1:00 pm.
Comunidad Yumani - The boat leaves for Isla del Sol at 1:00 pm from the White Anchor, dropping off at Yumani on the island’s southern end.

The entry fee to the island is NOT included.

Isla del Sol - From 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm, enjoy a walk around the sun temple Pilkokaina and the Yumani coast.

Isla del Sol to Copacabana to La Paz
Isla del Sol - Enjoy free time to explore Isla del Sol. Some suggestions include:
Take a public boat to the island’s northern end (approximately 30 minutes) and enjoy a 3-hour hike back to the south, taking in the stunning views.
The Gold Museum - Located on the island’s northern end, this small yet intriguing museum houses recovered artifacts.
The Fountain of Youth - Known for its legendary ability to keep you young, it features three streams of water, each with its own nickname.
Copacabana - At 3:30 pm, the boat departs from Yumani port to Copacabana, arriving around 5:00 pm.
Enjoy approximately 45 minutes in Copacabana before the bus departs for La Paz. Consider grabbing a bite to eat before departure.
La Paz - The bus leaves for La Paz at 6:00 pm from the White Anchor, passing through the Tiquina crossing and arriving in La Paz around 10:30 pm.
