English speaking, friendly and helpful. - Fantastic experience. Miguel and Pancho were super stand up guys, rental was easy and scooters/bikes were in good shape.

Poor communication and possibly a scam? - These guys put up a listing that clearly shows an address and business hours for pickup. Having driven around Mexico without internet, I show up on the day of my booking expecting to pick up the vehicle only to find out that there's no business at the address. Gave them a call and they said that they tried to contact me a couple of days ago to arrange a meetup. Looked at the Viator message app and noticed that they had reached out to ask when we're arriving without any further information provided. Despite not stating anywhere on their listing that I had to stay in touch for further information, the listing even kinda gave me reassurance that all the information I needed was "provided at the time of booking."
Anyhow, everything seem to be still okay if they were able to provide me the scooter when we were in touch, in which they tried, but told me I had to wait another hour for them to find someone to deliver the bike to me. After having already driven to two places they instructed, and asked to wait another hour, I decided to not waste anymore time as my stay in La Paz was short. Requested a 50% refund and was denied and further more, they wrote a response to my review stating that I was the one that is bad at communication.
Along my trip, I've booked 2 rental cars and 6 airbnbs/hotels, none of which I had to stay in touch for confirmation prior to the booking date. Even if that's required, please state that in the service listing that you don't have a location and need to know the exact time the clients will be arriving so you can schedule someone to meet me up? Anyhow, I wanted to change my review to a positive (because I care to support all businesses) but after seeing their response (see below) showing no accountability and also trying to blame me, i figured this must be a joke or some kinda scam?
"We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review, though we’re a bit confused. We actually sent you a message two days before your scheduled tour with all the details, but oddly, we didn’t hear back from you. Then, on the day of the tour, you suddenly popped up asking for a refund because your schedule changed.
So, if there’s a communication issue, well… let’s just say the mirror might be a good place to start. And as for poor scheduling—yeah, we completely agree! Just not on our end.
We totally understand that plans change, but last-minute cancellations don’t work when we have guides, transportation, and logistics already set up. That’s why there are policies in place (you know, those pesky terms and conditions everyone scrolls past).
Wishing you better luck with your future plans—maybe set a reminder next time?"

Poor communication. Would not recommend. - Poor communication, so bad that we had to forfeit the cost and move on as to not waste more time with them. This is our first viator experience and it was horrible so I won't be using them again.
