Fun but short. - Fun but short. Guides were not very engaging. Their kid life jackets were not good and I wished I’d brought my own for my kiddos. We’ve done it in fajardo and this was way brighter and WAY less crowded so that was a definite plus.

Awesome experience - It is amazing I highly recommend it, getting in the water is a MUST. Make sure your camera is in night mode or your pictures won't come out.

A must do! - Swimming in the bio bay was absolutely incredible! We were worried that the nearly full moon would prevent us from seeing anything, but we were still able to get some solid illumination. To get maximum glow, I would definitely plan this activity around a new moon. The tour is pretty straightforward with a short boat ride to the bay and then back. Tour guides provided minimal explanation about the science behind the bay, which would've enhanced the experience. Don't plan on getting any pictures, just enjoy the experience - your camera wont' capture the glow and neither will the flash.

Nice experience - Nice quick trip to the bay. I would have like to stay a bit longer swimming in the bay. But it was still a nice experience.

Amazing experince! - The boat ride out to the bay was fun you are flying through the water in complete darkness. When you arrive you hop into the bay and instantly amazed by the glowing plankton all over you and lighting up the water. The crew were nice however if your interested in getting an education about the bay your on your own the capt and mate didnt have much to say.

The bioluminescence... - The bioluminescence itself was pretty cool. But our boat captain (I think it was Johnny) barely spoke during the entire trip. When we arrived at the spot, he pointed and said “There are the life jackets. You have 15 minutes to swim.” That was it. No information or explanation of the science behind the bioluminescence, no offer to take our photos, nothing. I asked his first mate if he’d take our photo, and he gladly did and emailed them to us promptly. Cool experience, just use a different captain!
