Amphitheatre of El Jem - The El Jem Amphitheatre stands as one of the most remarkable ancient structures in North Africa. Constructed in the 3rd century, it once accommodated up to 35,000 spectators, rivaling the Colosseum in Rome.
What sets El Jem apart is its outstanding preservation. Visitors can still wander through its corridors, ascend the stands, and explore the underground chambers where gladiators and wild animals once awaited. From the upper levels, the view over the town of El Jem and the surrounding plains is simply breathtaking.

Proceed to Matmata. Dining at the Sidi Driss hotel, exploring cave abodes, home to the unique troglodyte architectures. Journey continues to Douz. (Camel excursion in the desert available at extra cost). Evening stay and meal at the hotel….

Proceed to Matmata. Dining at the Sidi Driss hotel, exploring cave abodes, home to the unique troglodyte architectures. Journey continues to Douz. (Camel excursion in the desert available at extra cost). Evening stay and meal at the hotel. -
2nd day: DOUZ
Morning meal at the hotel, then set off towards Tozeur, pausing briefly to take in the optical illusion of a mirage. After arriving in Tozeur, visitors have the option to tour the Oasis in horse-drawn carriages and the chance to visit the desert zoo. (Additional activities can be bought on location). Supper and lodging at the hotel on Full Board. -
3rd day: CHEBIKA
Leaving Tozeur for the Saharan Atlas ranges, reaching Chebika & Tamerza with their remarkable canyons. Onward to Gafsa for a noon meal at a local eatery. The trip concludes with a return to Tunis through Kairouan. - Child rate applies only when sharing with 2 paying adults
