Amazing time White water rafting - My mom and I had such a great experience white water rafting with Desafio! Julio, our driver, was amazing- he was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Our rafting guides, Ranol and Felix, were also so friendly and amazing! We had such a fun time rafting down the river.

Great experience! - We had a great time: very welcome, very friendly and warm people, beautiful place and rafting with sensations. The meal was also very good (special mention to fresh pineapple juice 🥰). We loved this moment and I can only recommend 1000%!

Brilliant morning white water rafting - We had a wonderful morning whitewaterrafting down the Sarapiqui river. The safety advice and instructions were really thorough but delivered in a fun way. Our guide Wilson was brilliant and made the trip really exciting and fun. Lots of tips on rafting and lots of wildlife knowledge. The 2/3 rapids were completely fine and didn’t feel too rough so would definitely try the 3/4 rapids next time. Lunch was included and had a vegetarian option. Well worth the money and a really good memorable experience. Definitely recommend 🙂

Bachelorette fun activity!! - A group of 15 girls did this activity for a bachelorette and we had so much fun! The instructor rodlan was the best, they explained everything and felt very safe!! We would do it again! Highly recommend

Outstanding rafting trip from La Fortuna - Smooth pick up and return from La Fortuna. The drive is a bit over an hour to get to the base. The river tour with guide David was excellent, besides making the rapids a lot of fun to go through, he also pointed out a lot of animals along the river. We were accompanied by our photographer (and safety backup) in a kayak. Break at half way with fresh fruit and an excellent lunch at the base (with showers, changing rooms and towels provided) rounded out the experience. Pictures were well worth the $30 price to keep the memories of the trip.

Great family activity! - We had an outstanding time with our guides, driver and photographer. Emanuel "Fluffy" was our guide on the raft - he was super positive, knowledgeable, funny and seemed to really enjoy his role as a guide. He pointed out lots of birds and plants, shared a lot about Costa Rica's history and agriculture and one big highlight was when he spotted a sloth and a monkey up in the trees. The degree of difficulty was perfect for our 10 and 12 year olds and he really got them into the flow. The snack stop was great with watermelon and pineapple and a chance for everyone to jump into the river. We ended the trip with a terrific lunch alongside a terrific Desafio team. Big shoutouts to Cheeky (our driver) and Marcos (our photographer and safety guru). They were so great to be around and Marcos really made our time on the river fun.

Wet and Wild! - We came with a family of 10. Ages 70-6 had a blast on both the whitewater rafting and the safari float. Everyone had a great time. The guides Gabriel,David,Susan and David (a 2nd David) made the entire experience so much fun for all of us. The kids loved the excitement. As parents, we knew they would keep them safe. The fresh fruit snacks mid rafting were delicious as was the lunch they served once we had finished and changed into dry clothes. Victor made sure we had great pictures and videos of the experience so we could remember the 2 great days. Also, Alan was a friendly and entertaining driver who took us to the launch point both days. So glad we went.

Relax and let your shoulders down in Costa Rica. - Costa Rica: Beautiful place with wonderful people! We were picked up in San Jose by Roy who drove us through the countryside to the River. Our guide was Gabrielle. He was personable and fun and made me at ease. He has an extensive knowledge of the wildlife and the river. He has been a river tour guide for 17 years and loves what he does. His enthusiasm and humor made our trip so enjoyable. We had a wonderful lunch after rafting and then Roy drove us to our final destination, la Fortunate. I highly recommend this event.

Fun on the Sarapiqui - This was a great trip! The perfect way to break up the day-long travel from La Fortuna to Manuel Antonio. The kids loved it as much as we did. Not too scary or difficult, just lots of fun. Our guide was great, super friendly and kept us all safe while allowing us to have fun. Lunch was tasty and served as a nice break by the water. The bus ride was long but the vehicle was well equipped and comfortable. I highly recommend this activity.

A mess - We tried to book a trip with this company on a recommendation. We contacted through WhatsApp, Facebook, their website and the phone. They kept telling us we'll get back to you in an hour and then never responded. This was over a period of four days. You can see they have read the messages and that they are online, but they almost never respond. Apparently, they fired everyone during the pandemic and do not have the capacity to do tours. But instead of explaining that or saying they can't do it, they either ignore or say we'll be right back to you.
