Red eye frogs and more! - We had a great experience with Steven! He was extra helpful with videos and photos for me to use with my students. He is very knowledgeable and was very attentive to the younger kids on the tour as well as us who aren’t as young. Highly recommend him and the tour

Tree frogs mating - Our guide Neyfren did an amazing job finding so many interesting animals from small daddy long legs to emerald lizards and even an owl! I got drenched but I think we got to see many more rare moments and was very enjoyable.

Must do in LaFortuna - The night tour was absolutely amazing! We had John and Steven as our tour guides and they were so knowledgeable about all of the species we saw, including plants! We saw frogs, spiders, snakes, insects, sloths, etc. Make sure to wear closed toed shoes. Highly recommend if you are looking for something fun to do!

Great experience! - Randy was an excellent guide with a great knowledge of the jungle and even though conditions weren’t great for frogs to come out he did a great job of taking extra time to find frogs, snakes, sloths, and other creatures in the park. He was very personable and made the whole experience fun and enjoyable.

Too expensive, but kind of fun 🥴 - Nice tour with nice guides, but:
- we only saw five frogs, a basilisk, and a sloth (even though we were told in rainy weather we should see more frogs and snakes). That can happen, bad luck.
- the guides don‘t seem to know much about flora and fauna. They can tell you the name of the most common frogs and whether they are poisonous or not. That‘s it. They just act very excited every time they (or a guest of the tour) spots a frog: „oooh! Look! A frog!“
-> It felt a bit like Theater of the absurd - and if you take it like that, the tour is still entertaining. (But expensive considering what you get)
