Great wildlife spotter - Our guide, Rasta was excellent. Very knowledgeable. As a hunter, I admired his great eye for being able to spot wildlife. Our driver (name starts with a P) was great too.

10/10 would highly recommend and would do again! - A phenomenal day! Rasta was our guide and he was extremely knowledgeable about everything. The day was well organized and planned. We enjoyed every single activity. We went as a group of 5 friends and we all 10/10 loved loved loved it! If you're coming to La Fortuna and want to just be able to enjoy your time without worrying about coordinating and just want to soak up all the main sights and attractions this is the way to go.

Amazing experience!! - David was our tour guide and did an amazing job!! He was so knowledgeable, patient and a great photographer for my friend and I! 10/10 recommend this tour. The hikes were a bit more strenuous than anticipated, but overall a great experience! Pack your hiking shoes and water!

Unforgettable Costa Rica Adventure! - Our tour with Devid was absolutely incredible! He was extremely knowledgeable about the history, animals, and even the insects we encountered along the way, which made the experience so much richer and more meaningful. Having him as our personal guide made the entire adventure feel unique and special — it felt like we got a private, tailored experience.
From the volcano hike to the stunning La Fortuna Waterfall, the hanging bridges, and finally relaxing in the hot springs, every moment was unforgettable. Devid’s passion for nature and attention to detail truly stood out, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Incredible magical experience! - Highlight of our trip!! We had an amazing time. We did the all day tour that included the Mistico hanging bridges, Arenal volcano hike, lunch, waterfall hike, and hot springs and drinks. Every stop was breathtaking. The lunch they provided was delicious. Our driver William got us to our stops promptly and safely. And I have to get a special shout-out to our guide Melanie, she was great. Probably the best guide I've ever had on any guided tour. She was so knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. She was kind and funny and just a delight to be around. It helped that we went during the slower season so she as able to give our smaller group a very personal experience. If you are going to La fortuna I definitely recommend you use Red Lava for your tours!

Wonderful experience - I loved the flow of the day as we embarked on our trip to the La Fortuna waterfall. We got to capture pictures of ourselves and of the view. We then visited the homes of the Maleku family and learned about their culture. We hiked up to view the arenal volcano. Lastly, we cooled off an active packed day at the Hot Springs where we also had a great amount of time to simmer and relax accompanied with a complimentary drink. The lunch was delicious and the tour guides were passionate about their jobs. They even stopped to let the group see a sloth, toucan, and monkey through their camera lens. Overall an enjoyable memory, great food and great views!

Great activity to see the major features of La Fortuna - Chris was a great guide. We hiked, ate, swam and saw sloths, birds, snakes and frogs. A very comprehensive activity.
