Wonderful cooking class - This was one of the most authentic and incredible experiences yet. We were first treated like normal tourists but by the end we felt like family. They brought out iced tea and even a special secret hot sauce. All the recipes were made together and all of the ingredients were said out loud. It felt incredibly warm to be around Miguel and his mother. They are doing an incredible job working from 6am until the end of the night so please support this family because the service is truly excellent.

Cooking Fun for the Whole Family - An incredibly fun family experience cooking with a mother and son team! The results were are a tasty lunch with a traditional Costa Rican flavor.

Delicious food and wonderful people - An excellent cooking and also human experience. Miguel and his Mom are wonderful people and we appreciated the cooking part as much as spending time and chatting with them. Food was easy to make, fresh and delicious!

Fun Family Activity - One of the most fun activities we did. We loved learning, cooking and eating local cuisine. Everything was delicious and we had plenty to eat! Would definitely recommend!

10/10 Experience - This was the best experience ever!!! We loved Melanie and Miguel and the food was amazing we took all the leftovers home.

Very good but areas to improve on. - Mixed feelings about this experience. The hosts Miguel and Melenia were so lovely and the food was delicious. However, the booking info said a max of 10 in the group and we had 14. The other party was very nice but they were late to the tour and everything took longer because the group was larger than usual. The farm tour part was a bit disappointing. It was good but not as informative as I would’ve liked and because we started late, it was dark by the time we finished. The food was traditional and yummy!! We even purchased some of the ingredients afterwards to try replicate back home. Overall a positive experience but lack of hand towels, having to do the dishes even tho it was late, larger group size all brought my rating down.

Enjoyed learning local dishes - We had a amazing time. The farm tour was very informative. I would definitely recommend this experience. The pig sty can use some cleaning in my opinion.

Cooking - The tour of the farm could’ve been a little more informative. However, the food was excellent. It would’ve been a better experience if they didn’t have us do the dishes in the end. I felt that was a bit off putting since we paid for this.
