So fun!!! - How fun!!! We got to make a delicious Costa Rican meal with Jennifer, who was so helpful and knowledgeable in local cuisine. Kathy was an excellent salsa and dance instructor, we had such a fun time! Highly recommend!!!

Sisters Having Fun - Staff was very helpful and gave good instructions. We only had 11 people in the group, so we were all able to assist with food prep and cooking. The food was delicious and plentiful. We were even given the recipes. Everyone seemed to enjoy making their own cocktails also. Dancing was fun! I don't think we are ready for Dancing With The Stars though!

Authentic Costa Rican food with salsa evening what more could you want on a trip in Costa Rica! - Great experience from beginning to end, commencing with a Costa Rican drink prior to cooking an authentic Costa Rican dinner. Jenny the cooking instructor explained the steps in full detail including all safety measures at every stage with a fabulous meal to enjoy afterwards. Then came the salsa … Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the salsa teacher but can say that it was loads of fun re-learning old and new steps - I certainly worked up a sweat - but well worth the effort. A thoroughly enjoyable evening filled with lots of laughter and salsa. Highly recommended.

A great evening of cooking, drinking and dancing! - We had a great time with Jenny! The food was delicious and we loved the salsa dancing at the end. We made picadillo, chicken, rice and beans, fresh tortillas and a typical Costa Rican cocktail (Guaro Sour), which we had plenty of! Jenny made everything very easy to learn and we really enjoyed ourselves. Definitely recommend!

Authentic Must Do - Kathi was a gem. She helped us prepare a delicious meal and then ate with us. And to top it off she then taught us Salsa dancing. It’s a nice way to start off your Costs Rica vacation.

Great evening with teacher Kathy! - We experienced a great combination evening with our cooking/dancing instructor Kathy. The cooking class was lots of fun and we enjoyed a full, tasty dinner afterwards eating what we had prepared. After the dinner, we learned a few salsa steps from this very patient woman, and really had fun with that part of the experience, too. Highly recommend the excursion with Kathy!

Good way to introduce yourself to Costa Rican cuisine as well as have fun socializing with strangers. - Katherine was fantastic at describing the culture and relating it to the food prep. You are left enjoying an authentic Costa Rican meal. In addition to the food class she also instructed the salsa lesson. Having 2 left feet and having taken salsa classes before, I found her ability to teach basic movements in a simple yet delightful manner. Of course everything is only as good as your company. Our tour was filled with just the right amount of people willing to participate and who were there to socialize and mingle.

We made a traditional... - We made a traditional casado. Our instructor was knowledgeable and helped show everyone how to best cut up the produce. Everyone was able to participate and help cook the meal. Afterwards we did a salsa dancing class. My wife and I had 2 left feet but we both had fun and the instructor was patient with us as we went through the steps.

Costa Rican Dinner and Dancing - Food was fresh, and mainly cooked by us, the people who signed up for the class. It was cool to meet other people and learn how to cook a Costa Rican meal, and then later learn how to do a little bit of Salsa dancing.
