Breathtakingly beautiful - Great trip! Our guide was super knowledgeable and showed us animals and plants throughout our hike that I would have never seen going alone! I wish we would have spent a little more time in the hot springs but for one day and the amount of things you get to do it’s totally worth it! I recommend taking the 500 and change steps down to the Fortuna waterfall!

Perfect day - What a great tour !!! We ended up being the only ones so it was basically a private tour. Our guide Hayro was very knowledgeable. He was passionate about our tour and we really enjoyed it. The waterfall is spectacular-I would have liked to swim but we had a full schedule!!! Take the stairs to go down to the base! So worth it.. the hanging bridges had the most beautiful scenery in Costa Rica… if you are going to see animals - this is not the tour- this tour is for the beauty of the rainforest, the nature of the lush greenery and views. So fun and both my 17yr old and I both enjoyed. We did see monkeys, snakes, bugs etc… but the lush rainforest is the real tour. Last stop was los Lagos! Great way to unwind, swim up pool bar in the hot springs, good food, tasty drinks .. loved to end the day this way …relax and enjoy the views. Thanks for a great day ❤️

For the Thrill seekers and adventurers - Our driver and tour guide, Hiro, was amazing. He was great driving navigating the commutes to the various locations . I only wish we had more time at the hot springs.

Absolutely Breathtaking - Hayro was our guide for the day and he is an absolute professional. We learned so much from him, he was very patient with our group, and we had a great time. There is a lot of walking and some of it is at a brisk pace. We started out with the waterfall, which is breathtaking. My friends and I went down to the bottom (500 steps down and 500 back up). Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes; the stairs are wet, not necessarily slippery, but definitely wet. We left the waterfall and headed to the hanging bridges - it is about an hour/ two hour van ride between the waterfall and arrival at Mistico Park. Hayro set a good pace but it is very hilly, prepare yourself. The views are gorgeous. We brought ponchos but luckily the weather was perfect. Not too hot with the perfect amount of breeze. We left the hanging bridges and headed over to the Hot Springs. When I was deciding on excursions, I kept going back and forth but what made this one worth the extra money was the hot springs. We arrived at the resort and they had so many different springs for us to try of varying temperatures (I felt like Goldie Locks at one point). The hot springs with a Pina Colada in a Pineapple was the perfect ending to the day. Thank You Hayro and I cannot wait to return and tour with you again.

Memelorable day! - Long day- 5:20am pick up and drop off was 8:30pm, but worth it if you are short on time and dont have a car. Arenal is a beautiful area. We saw strawberry frogs, spider monkeys, viper, and much more on the hanging bridges! The waterfall is beautiful especially if you go all the way down, but not enough time to swim, but you get ample time in the hot springs.

Long ride but worth it! - The tour arrived on time and we were the first pickup at 6am Fernando was incredibly sweet and worked well with my daughter (age 10). We were the only English speaking group on the tour so he was more than patient to explain in both English and Spanish The ride from San Jose was 3 hours (there was a bathroom break) I did not expect the included breakfast to be prepackaged sandwiches- but they were decent! It also included fruit and juice boxes The views are breathtaking along the way. There are TONS of stairs to get to the waterfall- to keep in mind if you can not climb 500 stairs down and up. Overall, the trip was long, tiring and WORTH IT.

Great day out - The sights mentioned on the tour are all great, lunch was at a hotel which had hot springs and it was very tasty, serving 3 courses with coffee and juices included. The only downside to the tour, which dropped the rating from 5 to 4 stars, is that the tour guide arrived almost 40 minutes late (we waited at a hotel for some people for 20 minutes and then an additional 20 minutes for the guide). This meant that we could only spend an hour at the waterfall rather than 2 hours as advertised. The guide was friendly but did not offer much advice on any flora or fauna either on the way to the volcano or in the park. More insight would have been helpful to understand what we are looking at.

Disappointed - Terrible the company cancelled @ 7:20 the night before, when we were suppose to be picked up at 6:00 am, after 6:30, I checked my email only to find it was cancelled, not a call just an email, not to mention we went to bed early to get up at 4:30 am, as we were told to be in the lobby by 6:00 am! And my money was not refunded immediately, I was told it could take up to eight days! We were told there was an accident the day before and they could not find replacement transportation! They did offer other days, but we had already booked other excursions way in advance just like this one!
