Absolutely fantastic, 10/10 - The waterfalls and repelling were fantastic. The heights ranged from 175 ft to 39 ft. Even our 8-year-olds did it. The monkey drop is for all ages and youcan make you go slow or fast. It was very safe the entire time, and the guides were excellent at instructing everyone. The hiking is minimal and the locations are absolutely beautiful. Back at the base camp, we had a great authentic Costa Rican lunch. Our guides were Ronny, Jorge, Rudy, Luis, Melvin, and Yadir. I would highly recommend Pure Trek Canyoning.

Awesome Half day Tour! - Three of us all in our 60's signed up for the Half Day Rappel tour. A van picked us up at our hotel and then we drove to another hotel and picked up another couple. We drove to another spot were we transferred to the back of a truck and had an exciting ride up steep dirt road to get to the canyoning spot. There were supposedly 40 of us on the whole tour but we were all separated nicely and it never felt crowded at all. We did 5 canyons total , the first one being the tallest!. We wore board shorts and a sun shirt with sneakers or water shoes. There were a few short walks between the 5 canyoning spots. When we returned back, some of the people went on to do combo tours - (zip lining, rafting....) We went back to The Pure Trek Property for a typical chicken, bean and rice lunch that was excellent. They served a delicious Guava Pineapple drink with it. There was a shower available and a place to change out of wet cloths. The grounds of the property were very pretty and we spotted a couple of Toucan's . They took pictures and videos of everyone rappelling and showed them while we were eating lunch. I highly recommend getting them-they got some great shots and it is nice to just enjoy and not worry about camera's . The pictures and videos were reasonably priced and we purchased them when we booked the tour. This excursion was amazing and the staff was awesome! Do it-you'll love it.

5 Star Review! - The guides were very helpful, safety conscience and fun! My husband and I had the greatest time!! I was a little nervous and they all quelled my fears. We loved the lunch they gave us and then each exciting repel! I was worried about the monkey jump but it was pure fun! No reason to worry. I recommend them 100% and wish I could give this experience and their company more than 5 Stars! They were a group of

Great family experience - We had a blast. Facilities are top-notch and we loved the lunch. The entire team was amazing. Went rapeling with family ranging from 9 years to 49 years and it was a great experience all around.

Very fun waterfall rappelling - The staff were very reassuring throughout the adventure and also very funny. Every jump was fun and had a reasonable height. I very much recommend checking this one out.

Great Canyoning experience - We had a fantastic time canyoning with Jonathan and his team as our guides. Our trip started with them picking us up from our hotel, then lunch (simple but delicious), and followed by a 20-minute drive ( a little bit rough drive) to the canyoning location. There are five canyoning/rappelling drops ranging from 195 ft to 40 ft, starting with the 195ft decent. The whole team was very friendly and helpful and made our experience a great one. I would definitely recommend it to check out while you're in La Fortuna.

Wonderful family adventure! - We did this experience as a family of four with kids ages 10 and 8. Our guides picked us up at our hotel and then drove us to the location where we’d start our journey.
Before we headed up the mountain they provided lockers with locks to keep our valuable items that we did not want to get wet. From there we took the road up to the point where the canyoning begins.
We were provided all the appropriate safety gear including helmets (some with action camera mounts), legit climbing harnesses and gloves.
Our guides were very experienced and did a great job showing us what we were supposed to do to rappel down the canyons. All of the guides were patient and willing to answer any questions and explained what we were to do in a manner that was easy to understand.
Once the canyoning was done we were transported back to the lockers to gather our dry clothes from the lockers and then driven to their headquarters for lunch.
Lunch was delicious and included rice, beans and chicken as well as some delicious fresh juice and coffee.
After lunch we were transported back to our hotel. This was a great experience and easy for our 8 and 10 year olds who said they loved it!

Bad don’t do - They say it’s a 4 hr trip but really your only spending about 30 mins total on the activity the rest is driving and an a he spent at the HQ of them try to sell you pictures they didn’t explain what to do very well
