Great Private tour!! - Thank you, Juan, for being punctured!! We had a great day with Juan, our private tour guide. We got to see some animals inside the Mystic Park. Juan used his telescope and was very skillful in setting up the telescope in no time. The price of this tour is just the "time" with the tour guide. Discuss with the tour operator if you want all-inclusive, including round-trip pick-up/drop-off, lunch, and entrance tickets, etc. Overall, we had a great day with Juan!!

Fantastic Experience with Juan Carlos! - My husband and I had an incredible time on the Hanging Bridges, Arenal Volcano, and La Fortuna Waterfalls tour in Costa Rica! From start to finish, everything was perfect. Our guide, Juan Carlos, was outstanding—super knowledgeable about the area and highley educated which made the whole experience even more memorable. Not only did he share interesting facts about the surroundings, but he also took us in his private car, which added a personal touch to the journey.
We got to see a variety of wildlife, including cows, an iguana, a toucan, a sloth, a viper snake and plenty of other amazing birds. Juan Carlos also took personalized photos of the wildlife that we saw with our smartphone camera through his telescope lens. The hanging bridges offered breathtaking views, and the Arenal Volcano and La Fortuna Waterfalls were just stunning. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area—it was an unforgettable experience, and we felt lucky to have Juan Carlos as our guide. Five stars all the way!

The highlight of our day! - We had great communication from the very beginning with Juan, but due to a schedule conflict, he referred us to Chino, a local resident of La Fortuna, who is an experienced freelance guide. Chino also was really easy to communicate with, and he was very flexible with our preferences. He created a custom adventure for us which included Hanging Bridges and Danaus Ecological Park and Butterfly Garden Tour. Having a guide is essential to having an amazing experience here, as they are very in tune with the environment and know the places to look for the wildlife and explain how the flora and fauna work together to create a beautiful habitat. Some of the most exciting moments were off the beaten path, where he was able to point out things that one would not see even if they were trying to spot them! Chino was excellent with our two small children, offering education and highlights that were relatable, easy to understand and his use of tools (pointer, binoculars, etc.) was extraordinary. Not only all of this, but his demeanor, personality and overall knowledge of birds, plants, insects, and the area in general was incredible. He is also an AMAZING photographer and was kind to share photos of our day afterwards. When asked about what our highlight was, it was an easy answer - having him share the day with us! La fortuna suspension bridges, waterfall and volcano - Had Eduardo as Guide. Super pleasant man. A lot of knowledge about everything. Has also taken us in the afternoon to local restaurant to get to know the specialties of the country. Good at spotting animals. Recommended!

Amazing full day private tour experience with Juan! - I had an amazing tour experience with Juan and my partner. We met Juan at Hanging Bridges park, did an hour and a half tour of the park. Next we went to the Mirador El Silencio hike along the Arenal volcano. After lunch at Soda el hormiga, we went to the Arena waterfall. All of our stops were excellent. At all points in the tour, Juan was giving us interesting facts and his opinions. He’s very knowledge about wildlife and other ecological issues. He’s so kind and passionate about his work. A GREAT way to spend your day in Arenal and well worth the money.

Great private tour at a great price! - I hired Juan as a private guide for my family of two adults and two children < 12 years old. Juan was simply great. He shared tons of knowledge, was very personable and was good with the kids. One aspect that I wasn't aware of beforehand (maybe it was my fault) but still worked out OK was that we used my rental car to go to the different locations. I was fine with it but for those without a rental car I suggest you ensure Juan is aware of that. Also, while I was aware of it also be clear that you have to pay for access tickets to the sites visited; the fee Juan charges is just for his time. Good luck Juan in growing your business further!

Incredible Tour & Guide!! - HIGHLY recommend this all-day adventure tour. Carlos was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable, and fun to explore the jungle with! The tour is designed with a perfect balance of hiking, observing, learning, adventuring, and relaxing. This experience was a major highlight on our Costa Rica trip 🇨🇷

La Fortuna Up Close! - Juan was an incredible tour guide! He has an eye for animals like no one else!! There are so many beautiful sights and creatures we would have missed if we had not been with Juan! So knowledgeable about the area with a very evident love for his country and the nature! Would absolutely INSIST on booking this tour!!!!!

Great day tour! A MUST - This was one of the best excursions I’ve experienced in traveling. Juan was excellent. He was very knowledgeable. He started us off at the Místico hanging bridges where there were 20 bridges many of them suspended in the air along with this was the trail through the rainforest where we seen many animals. He was super knowledgeable about the animals. Without him, there was no way we would’ve spotted these animals with the bare naked eye. It was great to have someone who was able to spot animals. Next he took us to the Areno volcano, where he gave us a history on the volcano and great views. I have added pictures, so you can see. He took us to a wonderful local restaurant where we had a wonderful lunch very reasonably priced the food was excellent at the restaurant Garra Pata. Lastly, we went to the Fortuna waterfall. It was a lot of stairs, so be prepared to walk up and downstairs but he was super patient with us. If we got tired, he waited right with us. He took several pictures of us throughout the whole tour for the entire day, and made us feel very comfortable and at home when I come to visit Costa Rica again I’m definitely contacting Juan and you should too!

Experience Costa Rica on Your Terms - I highly recommend Costa Rica Healing Tours! Juan is an excellent guide and has deep knowledge of the local plants and animals. He was able to show me a lot of really cool birds and animals that I would have missed if I didn't have a guide. He also knows the best spots for lunch and made sure I was safe on our volcano hike. If you want to do something unique or to see the local spots, this is the tour for you.
