- Arenal Hanging Bridges - The day begins with a scenic drive up the mountains near Arenal Lake. At the peak, we reach the Mistico Hanging Bridges Park, where we are treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the northern region, including the Volcano and Arenal Lake. Our hike takes us across six large bridges, some extending up to 80 meters. These elevated structures bring us eye-level with the rich wildlife. A professional guide accompanies us to help spot as much as possible.
After approximately 2.5 hours of hiking, we leave the bridges and head towards the volcano.
- Arenal Volcano National Park - A brief drive brings us near the vast lava fields left by the significant 1968 eruption. Being this close offers a true sense of the volcano’s magnitude. After exploring and enjoying the lava field for about 1.5 hours, it’s time for a meal. We head to the Rainforest Cafe, where a variety of delicious dishes await. Once well-fed, it’s time to unwind in the hot spring pools. Choose from any of the six pools offering thermal water at different temperatures. It’s a perfect way to conclude an active day and a wonderful opportunity to share experiences with fellow travelers.

Blessed excursion! - Blissful excursion with very good guide René/Ronny and very good driver. Meal was good. Guide made the effort to look for animals and we also saw many. Suspension bridges definitely worth visiting. Pura Vida Red Lava!

Awesome experience! - This was an amazing experience!!! The trip itself was wonderful, but our tour guide Chris made it truly magical. I would take any your guided by Chris. He is extremely knowledgeable and truly loves what he does.

Adventure - We are + 70, the climb to the viewpoint of the volcano we did not do, are many irregular and skidded steps... maybe it was very foggy and nothing could be seen

Volcano arenal - My wife and I are in our late sixties, so the hanging bridges were no problem navigating, but the 600 stairs at the volcano were too much. Being as it is, Chris was an awesome guide, very knowledgeable and attentive. I definitely recommend him.

Great tour day! - What a great tour day! First we went to hanging bridges. We saw frogs, a sloth and other animals. Our guide had special binoculars that allowed everyone to see the animals. Hanging bridges park was easy to navigate even in the rain! We had a comfortable tour bus and bathroom breaks throughout the day. Tour guides were great. Tasty lunch and hot thermal baths to end. We recommend this tour.

Fantastic day - We had a great day. The pick up was on time. Rasta was our guide and he was very dedicated and found plenty of well hidden animals he showed us through the telescope. The hanging bridges was an incredible experience. The Arenal volcano hike was very short, but still nice. Hot springs were lovely, we had one hour there which was enough. Lunch was also very good. Overall a very memorable tour.

Incorrect description for trip - This was a nice day. Not exactly what we expected from the travel description. The hike for the volcano was very steep and on very uneven ground. You need to give a rating on hikers ability for such trips. Lunch wasn’t on a farm just a restaurant on the side of the road. The hot springs was a small water park with locals and children running everywhere.

Totally inappropriate... - Totally inappropriate Price quality ratio. All the tours that were offered, The bridges, volcanic hike, hotsprings can be done without any problems even alone.
Totally crowded, about 25 participants with two guidebooks. Hot Springs hopelessly overflowing, large crowds. A star for the kindness of the tour guides. Our tour guide was unfortunately not very chatty and in wildlife observation, in my opinion, not the best either.
Bottom line was for a mistake decision to book this tour for so much money.
No recommendation. All these activities can be done for significantly less money without any problems even on their own.

What a disappointment ! - On our 4th holiday in Costa Rica we decided to book this daytour because we do like the jungle fauna and flora. The reason for only 1 star is that our tour guide was going so fast that I couldn’t follow him. My wife and me booked daytours in various countries for nearly 30 years, but we never experienced such a rude behavior. Only after my sincere complaint he changed his mind and at the end of climbing up 300 steps on the Arenal volcano he took care of my well-being.
Next time we will point out that we want a smooth hike through the jungle before any booking is done.
