The first activity consist of a nature guided hike through trails in combination with suspension bridges where will be able to experience what the rainforest is from above and see plenty of wildlife. Following by the hike to the breathtaking waterfall where you can refresh and swim, later the perfect lunch at a local family ranch awaits to gain energy for the last part… the hike around the volcano!

A must do in La Fortuna - This package was a fun-filled day with so much to offer. Oscar, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable about everything. Without him, spotting wildlife would have been nearly impossible. He kept the experience fun, even in the pouring rain. Make sure to bring a poncho and bug spray! The waterfall was absolutely stunning and definitely worth the visit. Don't miss out on swimming next to the waterfall—it's a must-do! The lunch provided was not only beautifully presented but also a delicious taste of authentic Costa Rican cuisine. During lunch, we were treated to a close-up view of a sloth, which was hanging out low in a tree—no binoculars needed! Our final stop was a short hike around the Arenal volcano, offering breathtaking views at the top.

Super tour - We had an excellent 7.30am - 2.30pm tour with our guide Isaac to the Hanging bridges and a volcano hike. Isaac is a very knowledgeable guide and we learnt a lot about the history and geology of this area and the natural habitat. Through his experience we were able to see an amazing range of insects, reptiles, birds and animals. The tour finished with a really delicious Costa Rican lunch.

If only a day in La Fortuna, this is perfect! - This was a great way to experience Arenal all in one day. We did not feel rushed and our guide was super knowledgeable. We are a family of 7 with 4 in their 20’s and a 15 year old. Everyone enjoyed it very much. We all agreed that it was a highlight of our trip!

3 in 1 combo: Hanging bridges, Arenal volcano and waterfall hikes - Fantastic Combo tour! My sister and I took my mother on this tour and I couldn’t say enough good things. Jason was our tour guide, he was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and friendly and made sure we got the best experience possible. I will admit it was a long day of activities but soo well worth it. I would recommend Rain Forest explorers to anyone. They help accommodate any age and challenge to best suit your needs and I will say as three young women visiting a foreign country I have never felt more taken care of!

Best of Las Fortuna in one day - Everything was as expected and was wonderful. Fabricio the guide did a great job and Jaime the driver was also wonderful. I recommend this tour as a one day way to knock out the best of La Fortuna!

3 beautiful hikes! - Oscar and Minor took us on a 3 in 1 tour today. They were on time, showed plenty of reptiles, birds and animals, took pictures drove us around. Took us to their cafe for a farm to table lunch and dropped us back at 4 pm.
Oscar is very skilled and is a local to La Fortuna he knows the details and is very professional.

Best Day and Tour in La Fortuna!!! - I had the most fantastic day exploring the hanging bridges, La Fortuna waterfall and Arenal volcano! I could not recommend Rain Forest Explorers highly enough. It was a fantastic company and the tour was so well organized! My guide was Jason Torres and he was the best guide I have ever had! He was so knowledgeable and passionate about the nature and the animals! His expertise made the tour even better than I had expected. My expectations for this day were very high and Jason managed to exceed even my highest expectations! If you are in the La Fortuna area, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Rain Forest Explorers and ask for Jason. I guarantee it will be the best day of your trip! Such a great way to see and do so much in one day!!!! 🇨🇷😁💙

Exceptional Tour - Amazing tour! Mario was exceptional, the stories and the knowledge he shared with us were great. He showed us lots of animals and shared the pictures with all of us. The lunch in el Rancho was one of the best meals I’ve had in CR, and the hike to the volcano to finish the tour was beautiful. If you don’t have much time in La Fortuna and want to see lots of things this is the tour for you!

Great tour if you have a short time in La Fortuna - Kenneth and Oscar were super friendly, fantastic tour guides sharing so much local knowledge and helping us capture photos. Punctual pickup time. This is a full day tour and a bang for your buck - we saw so much from the time we got picked up at 7:10am through drop off around 5pm. Lunch was the best we had in La Fortuna, and at a lovely ranch outside of town. It is a lot of driving back and forth; we wish the order of things were different to avoid that but because not everyone on our tour was doing all three stops I think it had to be this way. I personally wish there was more hiking time at the Volcano, but since that was the last stop everyone would have been overtired had we hiked more.
