Awesome Food Experience - The food tour was fascinating! Well worth taking. I learned a lot about the local dishes, the history of corn, the way foods have changed around the world as a result of colonization and the history/culture of the Huatulco area. We enjoyed sampling the many tasty dishes and seeing all the different small vendors and restaurants. With Jane as a trusted food expert, we could try places and foods we never would have felt comfortable to on our own and mark them down for return visits. So many tasty treats. Thanks, Jane! It was awesome!

Book now - wonderful experience!!! - What a wonderful experience we had with Huatulco Walking Food Tour. We were fortunate enough to have Jane show us around the charming town of Huatulco. From the beginning the adventure begins. All of the tastings were delicious. From the chips, to the hole in the wall (literally) rotisserie chicken, to the pozole, the tacos, the ice cream and then to finish the tour a few tastings of mezcal. Jane gave us so much information on the history of Huatulco, Oaxaca and cuisine. The feel of the town is that everyone knows everyone. Everyone cares for everyone and the sense of community is palpable. If you are considering this tour don't pass it up. It was a lovely experience. Ask Jane about cooking classes and then Cafe Juanita (going there tonight!). This was a memorable time and we are grateful for the opportunity to spend an evening with Jane - Muchas gracias!!!

Fun way to see the town and get a taste of Huatulco. - Francis was so friendly and full of fun facts about Oaxaca, Huatulco and the food. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this tour.

A must if visiting Huatulco! - Frances was an amazing guide! I’m sometimes skeptical of tours because I often find it feels extra touristy and not authentic to the culture of a location. But! Not this one! This was our first time in Huatulco (our group of 4 was two 30-something couples; we spent our trip mostly at a resort), and we were able to experience the culture and food in an authentic way through this tour. I really appreciated the personal touches Frances gave on the tour - nothing was rushed about it; she took time to answer questions, linger longer at the places we liked, and got us so much good food. I just wish I had been hungrier coming into the night because I got full too quickly! I can’t wait to come back and experience more of this beautiful area one day, and am glad for the introduction Frances gave us. Would highly recommend!

Excellent - Enjoyed the food tour. Im the person who didnt like Mexican food. Now I like it. Francis was very knowledgeable in Mexican culture. Explaining about the food and area she lived. Good personality tobe a guide.

A "Must Do" Tour - We stopped at fabulous places we'd never have gone to on our own. Plus, Jane gave us an interesting lesson in Mexican and Huatulcan food and history. This is a "must do" excursion.
