Cusco Biking Abra Malaga - Santa María

A brief stop will be made for shopping or restroom use. The journey to Machu Picchu begins through the Inca Jungle Abra Malaga, the starting point for a three-hour biking tour (55 km), offering views of the Peruvian Amazon rainforest and cloud forest.
Santa Maria - Following the cycling activity, private transport will continue to the Santa Maria district, where lunch and dinner will be provided, along with overnight accommodation. Santa María offers the option of rafting on the Urubamba River, featuring rapids of categories I, II, and III+. Helmets, windbreakers, and category V life jackets will be supplied. (This activity is unavailable during the rainy season from December to March due to water levels).
Santa María – Inca Jungle Trail to Santa Teresa
Santa Teresa - The journey continues with a descent on foot to the town of Quellomayo, where a delightful lunch will be served, followed by a 25-minute rest. Transportation will then be taken to the district of Santa Teresa for an overnight stay and dinner. An optional visit to the thermal baths of Cocalmayo is available in the afternoon; please inform if interested.
Santa Teresa – Hydroelectric - Aguas Calientes Machupicchu
Santa Teresa - After a diverse breakfast featuring local tropical fruits, the day begins at 8:00 am with a tour of a prime bird-watching location using binoculars. The walk will showcase various plant species. A 40-minute bus ride will then lead to the hydroelectric plant.
Aguas Calientes - Lunch at Hydroelectric: A delicious lunch will be served at 12:00, followed by a 30-minute rest. The hike to Machu Picchu town, 10 km along the train rail, will then commence, involving a 3-hour trek to Machupicchu town (Aguas Calientes).
Upon arrival in Machu Picchu town, guests will check into the hotel for a brief rest before enjoying dinner at 7:00 pm in a fine restaurant.
Machu Picchu Tour – Ollantaytambo – Cusco City
Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - This day is significant as it involves exploring The Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. The day starts with an early breakfast at the hotel. Accompanied by an official guide, guests will proceed to the bus station to travel to one of the seven wonders of the world, Machu Picchu. After a 35-minute bus ride to Machu Picchu Llacta, guests will check in with passports and entrance tickets at the entrance gate. A guided tour of 2 hours will follow, exploring the sacred city of Machu Picchu, including the Temple of the Sun, Royal Tomb, Inca Intiwatana (sundial rock), Plaza de Armas, Temple of the 3 Windows, The artisan sector, Temple of the Condor of Machu Picchu, Inca architecture, and hydraulic engineering, among others. The tour also features beautiful animals like llamas and alpacas. The return journey includes a bus ride back to Aguas Calientes for lunch, followed by a train ride to Ollantaytambo and a bus ride back to Cusco.
