We kicked off our tour at Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, and walking through the endless torii gates in the late evening was nothing short of magical. Our guide’s fascinating stories and knowledge made the experience even more memorable.
At Sanjusangendo Temple, we were captivated by the incredible main statue and the thousand life-sized Kannon statues. The guide’s explanations made the history and significance of the temple come alive for us.
One of the highlights was tasting delicious local foods at hidden spots that we would never have found on our own. Our guide knew exactly where to take us for the best culinary experiences in Kyoto.
