- Sanjusangendo Temple - 15 minutes from Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine. Next, we visit Sanjusangendo Temple, famous for its 1001 statues of Kannon, the goddess of mercy, housed within the temple.
- Gion - 10 minutes from Sanjusangendo Temple. Following the Shirakawa River, we will cycle through the historic backstreets leading to Miyagawa-cho and Tatsumi Bridge in Gion, the renowned geisha district. The ride through this area takes about 20 minutes.
- Nanzen-ji Temple - 15 minutes from the Gion District. Moving closer to the heart of Kyoto City, we will visit Nanzen-ji Temple, one of Japan’s most significant Zen temples.
- Heian Shrine - 10 minutes from Nanzen-ji Temple. Our final stop is the popular Heian Shrine, a Shinto shrine symbolizing Kyoto’s status as Japan’s capital around 800 years ago.
- Kamogawa River - 10 minutes from Heian Shrine. Finally, we will return by following the Kamogawa River, arguably Kyoto’s most famous river. The journey back to our Flagship stop takes approximately 20 minutes.
