Experience the enchanting performance of a real Maiko, an apprentice Geisha, up close. With only about 40 Maikos remaining in Kyoto, this is a rare and special opportunity. Kyoto is the exclusive place to immerse yourself in the authentic world of Geisha—don’t miss out! The show begins with the Maiko performing a traditional dance lasting approximately 10 minutes, which is the typical duration for most Maiko performances. Following two dances, each around 5 minutes, there will be a session for Q&A, photo opportunities, and a chance to engage in a traditional Japanese game with her.

IMPORTANT: In Geisha/Maiko culture, performances are intentionally brief to maintain the art’s exclusivity and elegance. Please be aware that the Maiko will not perform continuously for an hour.
