Ikebana is very interesting - Master Fooraku is an expert ikebana teacher who has been studying the art for over 30 years. He is very knowledgeable and his English was good. It was a fun learning experience that I would certainly recommend to anyone interested in floral arts.

Felt Japanese season with flowers at this class! - I took Fooraku's ikebana class with my friends. I have joined Western flower arrangement classes before, but this was my first ikebana class. I was impressed by the technique of expressing beauty with a few flowers as opposed to flower arrangements that use many flowers. Fooraku explained us about the tools and how to cut and put the flowers in a vase. He used seasonal flowers, so I tought I can enjoy ikebana whole year! His instructions was very eazy to understand and follow, so I was so satisfied with my work!! He even gave us the certification at the end of the class and made me happy! If you have chance to go to Kyoto, don't miss it!! highly recommend!
