a fantastic escape! - actually I took this one in March this crazy year, and it was a perfect escape! Looking at the trees was like being in a Japan storybook. The historical stories made the whole experience even more alive. and the food! superb! I really understand the significance of seasonality in Japanese food. highly recommend!

A Wonderful Evening - We had a wonderful evening out with our guide, Lauren. A fantastic way to spend a couple of hours in beautiful Kyoto with great company too! It will be hard to say goodbye to Kyoto.

Disappointed - We did this tour in April of 2019 not 2020 as suggested below. I don't know why Arigato is asking for our review now. We didn't like excess time waiting for the other people to form our small 5 person group ( we were told that we had be on time.) Then we had to make allowances for a small baby and the Parents desire to cos play. After visiting shrines etc. We were invited to sit on the cold ground (it was a very cold evening) to perhaps start the food portion of the tour? We explained to the guide that is wasn't a comfortable idea, but the other family wanted to picnic. We left and didn't stay around to participate in the rest. Have no idea about he food portion of this food tour. The cherry blossoms were beautiful but we didn't need an expensive guide for that. Every food tour we participated in with Arigato in Tokyo was 5+ stars. I am not sure that this one was well thought out in case of cold weather. We suggest that they make it a " food "tour with indoor stops like the others in Tokyo. I have no problem with Arigato..they easily refunded our tour fee.

Don’t waste your money! - While the guide was nice and knowledgeable you could do this tour independently for a tenth of the price.
