Great visit! - Great tour with Shizuka. She answered all of our questions and got us to areas before big crowds hit. She handled our family of 4 well, even when our ten year old was difficult!

My wife and I had an... - My wife and I had an amazing time on this tour. We were in a small group of just six people, including our tour guide, Taira, which made the experience feel very personal and enjoyable. Taira was everything you could ask for in a guide—charismatic, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about Japan’s history and culture. He made each stop meaningful with his insights and stories, and his enthusiasm really added to the experience. Taira also went above and beyond by pointing out the best spots for photos and offering to take some of us throughout the tour. Highly recommend!

great tour for earlybirds - Itinerary: Inari Shrine, Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion temple). We took the 715 am tour. The tour started at the Kyoto Station entrance (you will get more detailed directions). Look for the person with the "GuideMe" sign. It was a short train ride to Inari Shrine (you see the red-orange corridor in the TripAdvisor picture). Being a popular spot, there were a number of other tourists, but it was enjoyable and special without the hordes of people you would get later in the day. Next, a train ride and walk to Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, another iconic Kyoto spot. Again, a lot of tourists, but not jammed with people. Next, a walk and bus ride to Kinkaku-ji. All three sites are definitely worth seeing. There was time for a couple of breaks for coffee, bathroom, snacks, whatever. I suspect that the length of the breaks depends on the overall pace of the tour. There was no sense of being rushed, though. Transport was all by train, bus, and walking. If you are staying in Kyoto for a few days, try to take this tour early in your stay because it is a great introduction to different parts of the city. Our guide was very knowledgeable and a great communicator.

Amazing Experience of Kyoto Morning Tour - Konami was our tour guide for Kyoto morning tour. Kanami was personable, spoke very good English, and taught us a few new facts about Japanese history that our tour guides didn’t tell us. Konami also took amazing pictures of our family throughout the tour. Highly recommend Konami as a tour guide in Kyoto!!!

Ai was the best! - We went in June and had an amazing time! Our guide, Ai, was able to answer every question we through at her, and even asked some of her own about us. She made the whole tour feel like we were with a friend rather than a guide we’d just met. She took us to the golden temple, bamboo forest, and to the fushimi inari shrine, all of which was amazing. I’d highly recommend the early bird tour to avoid the big crowds!

An awesome experience, with an even more awesome guide! - Ai was wonderful! She took us around Fushimi Inari, the Bamboo Forest, and the Golden Temple around Kyoto. She was able to answer every question we threw at her, and even asked us some of her own, which made us feel as though we were less on a tour and more just on a trip with a friend. 10/10 day!

3 of Kyoto's best attractions seen the easiest way - It was wonderful to spend the morning with Tang, who was knowledgable, friendly, and passionate about the history of the sights we went to. This was a fun tour where we visited 3 of Kyoto's main attractions ... we travelled by local train/ bus and Tang made this easy to do ... in fact it was much quicker than trying to see the sights by taxi or bus. We were a small group and this allowed for lots of personal interaction. Tang was very gracious in recommending great places for lunch after the tour.
