Fantastic cycle tour of Kyoto - We thoroughly enjoyed our bike tour. Our guide Pohan was fantastic; knowledgeable, friendly and thoughtful. The e-bikes were in great condition and cycling around was easy and interesting as we saw some suburban residential areas of Kyoto. The temple and shrine we stopped at were beautiful and the bamboo forest was spectacular. The lunch stop was very good too. We would highly recommend this tour.

Great first day in Kyoto - We were a family of two adults and two teens (11, 14), and all of us loved this tour. It was swelteringly hot which made the day tough, but the guide navigated the crowds to get us into the shade at each stop, and e-biking through Kyoto’s neighborhoods was wonderful. There was cool ramen recommended to us for lunch was scrumptious too! Highly recommend this tour to all who are comfortable on biking city streets.

Highlight of our visit to Kyoto. Highly recommend. - So many beautiful places. E-bikes are a great way to get around the city and see the local communities. Really easy riding even in the heat (35C). Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided tons of historical context.

Great way to see Kyoto! - A great way to see the main sights of Kyoto. Diego was our tour guide and he was exceptional. We stayed in Osaka so this was a day trip for us. I feel like this tour is a great way to pack a lot of sightseeing in one day. We covered a lot of ground on those e-bikes that were in good condition and worked really well. We also had a lunch stop. It was a really good value for a full day tour. Highly recommend this tour and ask for Diego as your guide.

absolutely the highlight of our Kyoto visit - This bike tour was absolutely the highlight of our Kyoto visit. The six-hour experience struck the perfect balance between comprehensive sightseeing and leisurely exploration, with well-timed stops and a delightful lunch break that kept us energized throughout the day. Our guide Diego was exceptional—knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about sharing Kyoto's history and culture. He provided fascinating insights at each location without ever making us feel rushed, allowing us to fully absorb the beauty and significance of every site we visited. The route itself was thoughtfully planned, taking us along scenic internal roads that were both beautiful and mercifully uncrowded. The high-quality e-bikes made the journey effortless, and the complimentary water was a nice touch. The terrain is mostly flat and quite manageable, making this tour accessible to riders of various fitness levels. The itinerary covers Kyoto's three major temples and shrines plus the iconic bamboo forest—truly the must-see highlights of the city. The midday stop at a fantastic ramen restaurant was a perfect cultural and culinary addition to the experience. Our only minor concern was the condition of the helmets, which had an unpleasant odor likely due to Japan's rainy season. This seemed to be a common issue noted by other participants as well, and seen at many bike tours across the globe. While helmets aren't mandatory for this relatively safe, flat route, tour operators might consider addressing this hygiene concern. Despite this small drawback, we thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience Kyoto's treasures in an active, immersive way.

Electric bike tour - Difficult to find with no signage hidden down back road. Five hour electric bike tour stopping at 3 destinations. Informative and pleasant . With quite a lot of walking at places. 45 minutes in a restaurant where we did not want to eat lunch. Would have been better if stopped in a main area where everyone could make their own choice. A good experience needs tweaking to make it better.
