Great Day Trip from Kutaisi - When coming to Kutaisi, I knew I wanted to do the canyons tour, but I didn't have any expectations about Chiatura. It ended up being one of the best day trips I've done in Georgia. My guide Tengo was fantastic at showing us fascinating historical monasteries, abandoned Soviet era buildings, and great landscape views from cable cars. He's also just an all-around great guy to spend the day with.

Outstanding tour with Tango - Outstanding tour with Tango today in Kutaisi. I've taken Tours in over 40 countries, and this guy was one of the friendliest and most interesting guides ever. He even shared his lunch with me. I'll be recommending this company to friends. 10 out of 10. Thank you for looking after me. Chiatura was magical!

Chiatura and other wonders - Really interesting excursion that gives the opportunity to discover the surroundings of Kutaisi without any trouble. Demo, our guide, is a passionate and enterprising guy who enthusiastically told us the story of his city Chiatura, the Mgvimevi Castle Monastery and Katskhi Pillar. I highly recommend this excursion!!!!

Unforgettable tour with a Knowledgeable and friendly Guide - This tour was an absolute highlight. The route was full of exciting and varied experiences. Our guide Ana was incredibly welcoming and had deep knowledge of both the area and the country as a whole. We felt both inspired and well taken care of throughout. Highly recommended.

Tour offered religious, historical and Georgian small town-vibes - I would totally recommend this tour!! It offered insights into life in a Georgian small town. Generally, a great mixture of exploring (old) religious places like Mghvimevi Cave Monastery and of course the famous Katskhi Pillar as well as the town of Chiatura - which more than 50% of its residents left since the 1990s - with the old Soviet cable car station, the museum and some great insights by the local guide.

Interesting trip but overrated - What the visit is is entertaining and the guide is friendly but somewhat forced in what the conversations are. I think there were some things that could have been better done like some visit to some more communist monument or bypass the visit of the train station that doesn’t make much sense or the abandoned private hospital. What above all detracts from the merit of this trip is the overprice paid, the fact that the minibus has no air conditioning and was going to give us all a sunstroke and that at the end of the trip the guide went one by one requesting the 5 stars on TripAdvisor. That's not how you do things. They should also offer discounts to children and the disabled. Ultimately, if you are looking for a local operator you may be taught everything for half the price.
