Kuranda - train, sky rail, and croc farm - This was a fantastic excursion with Brett! We added a tour of Hartley’s crocodile farm to the start of our day. It was awesome seeing the crocs, wombats, wallabies and koalas. Next we took the sky rail over the rainforest to the kuranda village. Be sure you make time to see the beautiful birds at Bird World in the village! From there we were taken to the scenic train. You will love the beautiful views and waterfalls along the way back. Last stop was to enjoy a cocktail overlooking the beach at Palm Cove. Brett is awesome! Very fun and knowledgeable! I highly recommend this budget Kuranda tour with all the add ons!!

Warmly recommended ! - We took the budget tour as we already took the train years ago. Brett is a great guy and the trip was easy and fun. Unfortunately the weather was bad but it remained a good experience.

Brett’s Kuranda Day tour - We had a wonderful day trip with Brett , knowledgeable host and friendly. Good for young children and old alike, try the train ride up and the sky rail back. Leave time for the butterfly enclosure and try the local food shops cafes etc. Beautiful location and an hour out of Port Douglas. Highly recommended

A must do! - Firstly, Glen was a super guide - on time, friendly, funny, informative, and helpful. Brett, you should pay him more (and he didn’t ask us to write that!😬). We were picked up at our Palm Cove accommodation for the 20-minute drive to the Freshwater train station where we took the 90-minute trip to Kuranda. The old but beautifully restored train carriages were comfortable and the views along the way were breathtaking. The narrative during the trip was interesting and informative. We tried to upgrade to gold service at the station but it was booked out well in advance, so if you want that service, as Brett's to book ahead. We had two hours in Kuranda before Glen took us to the skyrail station for the return down the mountain. Again, there were beautiful views and a chance to get out of the cable car briefly at two stops for sightseeing. Glen met at the skyrail station and drove us back to our lodging. We were picked up in the morning at 9:00 AM and returned to our accommodation at around 3:15 PM. The cost was $210 per person and was well worth it. The gold class trip on the train costs an extra $55 per person above what's included with the tour package, and you can also get a cable car with a glass floor for a bit extra (don't know how much). This was a wonderful experience.

Skyrail is a Must Do - The Skyrail was amazing. The view down into to rain forest was spectacular and Barron falls was a sight. Brett had lots of great information. The train ride was OK. Not having a direct window seat made it harder to take pictures. The ride was OK and interesting but I wasn't able to capture the pics I wanted not bei ng right at the window. The time at Kuranda Village was too short to see enough of it. Didn't expect to see it all but 1.45 hours definately not enough to eat, see the butterfly garden and do any shopping. It is also alot bigger than the "little aboriginal" shopping village you might think it is. Definitely worth doing, but give yourself more time if you can.
