The formation of the Stone Forest has undergone about 270 million years, and depends on its unique value for research and aesthetics, the Stone Forest was recognized as the first batch of UNESCO GEO-PARK in 2004, and it was also put into the list of World Natural Heritage UNESCO in 2007. After lunch, you will be transferred to Yuanyang for the grand terrace field (6hs for driving). After discovering by French people in 1980’s, Yuanyang Hani Terraces has become more and more famous all around the world. It is a masterpiece created by Hani people, Yi people and other nationalities for generations. And it was listed as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO IN 2013.
