Young Barauli Tharu men and women will perform traditional folk songs and dances for you as they are dressed in their native attire. In rural Nepal, they narrate tales about the harvest and ceremonial events that are essential to their existence. The performers will sing and dance in the center of the courtyard while you all assemble outdoors and are seated in a circle around it. You will be seeing dances.

Expect to witness an array of dance forms including the fire dance, peacock dance, Bhajayati, and Thekara stick dances among others.
