Occasionally, gaurs and leopards may also be seen. Important note before booking: This is not a zoo visit. The national park is home to approximately 320 protected wild elephants, and the likelihood of seeing them in their natural habitat is about 90-95 percent. However, sightings cannot be guaranteed, and the number of elephants seen may vary. Sometimes they are visible from a distance or just a few hundred meters away. There are also many other animals to observe, including birds and gaurs. The visit to the park lasts about 3 hours, sometimes extending until dusk.

Kui Buri boasts a diverse bird population with more than 260 species recorded. Notable birds include crested falcons, grey peacock pheasants, ferrous partridges, Tickell’s brown hornbills, white-crowned hornbills, brown fish owls, yellow-vented green pigeons, white-fronted dwarf-eared owls, mustached hawks, red-necked hornbills, blue-collared parrots, chestnut-nickel fork tails, red-bearded bee-eaters, and maroon woodpeckers. Additionally, visitors might encounter birds like the Crested Fireback, Indian Roller, and Asian Openbill, as well as gaurs and leopards.
