Nice daytrip from Chiang Mai - A great full day experience with lots of nature and an amazing base camp. Everything is well thought out and organised and all the guides and staff are super friendly. Special thanks to Bang, who let us reschedule due to sickness! :) The trek was nice and easy, we really enjoyed it. One thing we were missing in other reviews: the water in the river is freezing cold. So hanging your lower body in the water for over an hour was not very enjoyable. So if you’re sensitive to that, consider skipping the tubing. Obviously that’s out of control of the tour operator, so it’s just a heads up for travellers in early January.

Relaxing day out! - Bang was an excellent host—a true professional. He was engaging, humorous, and an all-around great guide. He showed great care for his home village, the well-being of his guests, and the elephants. It was a fantastic, relaxing day and absolutely worth it!

Awesome experience - Hike was awesome. Bang explained a lot of interesting Things about the plants and animals living there. The waterfall is beautiful. Lunch (Pad Thai) was very good. Tubing was cool but the water was a little cold (January). Thats why we also didnt try the waterfall Slide even though some in our group did it anyways. Unfortunately we didnt see any water buffalos (mabye due to the season?), but a few elephants along the way. Feeding the elephants was a very Special experience, I would absolutely recommend doing it. You can also book and pay the feeding at the camp if you decide to do it after booking without it. The elephant sanctuary is near the Base Camp and the rescued elephants are super cute. There ist enough food so that everyone can feed a lot of things.

Try the rock slide at the end - This was a really well organised and fun day. Everything flowed seamlessly and we were surprised by how many elephants we saw bathing on the river. Highly recommended.

A little exercise and a bit of relaxation. - What a great day! We took a really fun hike through the jungle, with bridges and latter's and rocks to climb. We ended at a beautiful waterfall before heading back. Lunch was provided along with snacks and water. We then headed to the river for a really fun river ride. The tubes were attached, so we journeyed as a group with music playing and beer for sale! It was beautiful and relaxing but also exciting to see elephants on the shore in several different areas. Next was a short trail into the jungle to play at a waterfall. The water had created a natural slide into the rock that dropped into a deep pool.

Good trip but long day ! - Good trip - but lots of time in the car, making it a very long day… from the description we thought we’d be back sometime mid afternoon but it was almost 12 hours total !

Great day in Chaing Mai - Enjoyable day but quite long. Hike is strenuous but worth it. Float is easy and refreshing especially if you encounter elephants along the way.

Just ok - The trip has been a lot longer than 8 hours, more like 11+ with lots of down time. Hike was on the difficult side due to trail conditions. Tubing was fine, but unexceptional. Poor communication throughout.

Friendly staff - The staff are very friendly and the hike and waterfall were great. Nine was a great tour guide. I think the tour would need an improvement with timing and planning. We completed the waterfall trek and got back for lunch at 12:30 however, we did not start the tubing experience until 2:00 pm. We could not start the tubing experience because we were joining another group. I also found the waterfall slide at the end of the tour not worth it.

Trek and slide are recommended, tubing not so much. - The trek was great and Nine was a great guide who told us lots of interesting facts. The lunch provided was yummy too. Unfortunately, there is a 2 hr gap that we were not informed about between lunch and the tubing as we had to wait for the separate tubing groups to arrive. The tubing was in two groups of 12, and we only saw a few elephants from afar, and the 'nature park' where they lived was just a dirt island with a lot of construction happening and no real nature/wildlife for the elephants. Unfortunately , we were expecting more ethical and holistic treatment of the elephants. The waterfall slide at the end was great fun! We ended up getting back to the hotel around 7pm after leaving in the morning at 8am.
