- Bukit Melawati - Bukit Melawati, or Melawati Hill, is a renowned tourist spot in Malaysia near Kuala Selangor. The hill offers views of the Strait of Malacca and features a lighthouse and the remnants of the Kota Melawati fort. Built in the late 1700s by Sultan Ibrahim of Selangor to defend against Dutch invaders, the fort was captured and renamed Fort Altingburg by the Dutch. Sultan Ibrahim reclaimed it in 1785, but it was later destroyed during the Selangor Civil War. Visitors can take a tram, known as the tourist train, to reach Bukit Melawati on weekends and public holidays from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. On weekdays, visitors can drive up. Tram tickets cost RM 5 for adults and RM 3 for children. The cannons at Bukit Melawati were constructed as part of the fortifications by Sultan Ibrahim to resist the Dutch. The Poisoned Well at Bukit Melawati contains water mixed with latex and itchy bamboo shoots, used historically to punish traitors by submerging them up to their chins.
- Taman Telaga Tujuh - Originally, this site had a well with seven springs that never dried, even during droughts. Now, only a few remain, with the rest buried. Some visitors use the well’s water to fulfill vows.

- Kuala Selangor - For optimal viewing, the best time to see Kuala Selangor’s fireflies is just after 8 pm on a clear, moonless night.
