An Unforgettable Journey through Malaysia & Singapore - We booked a two-week couple’s tour through Singapore and Malaysia in February/March 2026. Our trip coincided with the end of Chinese New Year and the beginning of Ramadan, which turned out to be the perfect timing. We got to see all the stunning decorations in the Chinese districts, yet there were hardly any crowds. We explored every sight without the usual masses and never encountered a single traffic jam during our tour. It is truly a fantastic time to visit this beautiful country! The holiday started in Singapore, while the main tour kicked off in Kuala Lumpur, leading us through historic Melaka to Taman Negara National Park. We then headed to the Cameron Highlands and Penang, with many interesting stops along the way. We finished our trip on Pangkor Laut, a small island paradise off the west coast. Our guide, Thiva, made this holiday truly special. He was outstanding—always friendly, punctual, and attentive. As a brilliant storyteller with deep knowledge of local customs, history, and culture, he didn't just share facts; he kept us thoroughly entertained. He was incredibly flexible and always catered to our needs. If you get Thiva as your guide, you’ve hit the jackpot! ;) The itinerary offered a perfect balance between vibrant cities, lush nature, and historical or religious sites. We felt we discovered so many different facets of the country in a short amount of time. Last but not least, a huge thanks to Allemann Reisen (Switzerland) for the excellent advice. All our hotels were superb and perfectly located for exploring the surroundings on foot. We recommend this tour without reservation!
