Perfect food street tour ✌️ - It was a mega evening with a very nice guide, the boss himself. He ordered food for us, which we probably would not have ordered ourselves and gave us a very good overview of the food in Malaysia and especially Kuala Lumpur. This tour is highly recommended for Fine Dining Fans!

Great tour to sample local cuisine - We had a wonderful evening tour with Reka! This was our first tour after arriving into KL and a great way to learn and taste a lot of the great food that KL and Malaysia have to offer. We spent most of our time on Jalan Alor Food Street, which is open air with many food vendors. The sights, sounds and smells were very interesting. Reka did a wonderful job to explain the dishes and talk a bit about the history and cultural influences.

Fun times with TK in KL - We picked TK as our KL guide and we couldn't be more please. Initially we had booked him for a food tour but we were looking for a one day tour including Batu Caves and quick peeks at the hot spots of KL. He did not disappoint and really gave us a nice all encompassing overview of the city/culture/food. TK clearly has a passion for all things Malaysia. He's an energetic/dynamic/funny guide and we had a blast spending the day with him. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family travelling to KL. You won't be disappointed!

Don’t miss in this local food tour - you will not be dissappointed! - We were in KL for one night of our honeymoon on our way to Langkawi. We did the walking food tour with Zack l and it did not disappoint. We got to try great local street foods and learn about KL from Zack getting great recommendations for our short time here. We would highly recommend this tour! Thank you Zack for your great service and expertise knowledge.

Amazing experience - Faris was amazing. We ate a lot more than what was advertised, definitely bring your appetite. Faris took us on a multicultural journey of food through all of the ethnicities of Malaysia. We even tried some hard to find snacks and ended up with some great recommendations to which we tried the next day. If you were thinking about booking a tour with Faris, dont think just book him.

Great Food Adventure! - This was an absolutely wonderful experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting KL. We spent a lot of time exploring local food and foodie places. We learnt so much about the local ingredients and about night life in the KL. I was fascinated by the diversity of the local food and interested to learn how Chinese, Indian and Malaysian cuisine influences one another to create so many spectacular dishes which are present only in Malaysia. We tried some delicious pastries, local street food (tempura style durian and jackfruit), amazing chicken BBQ and a roti tissue.

A must do tour when in KL. - If you are in KL then you have to do this tour. TK was an excellent and knowledgeable host, not just of the food on offer, but on all aspects of KL, Malaysia and wider Asia. The food he chose for us was all very tasty and in the most part new to us and there were many foods that as a European we may have just walked past. We were doubly lucky that our visit coincided with Ramadan so there were additional specialties only normally available at this time. Thoroughly enjoyed our tour and our time with TK.

Highly recommend - Great tour, great guide, so much time taken with my elderly parents and the time taken to explain both the food and the history of KL and Malaysia was brilliant. Couldn’t recommend enough.

A Taste of Kuala Lumpur" with Siddoz - We (2 people) did the Tour "A taste of Kuala Lumpur" with Siddoz. We met punctually at 5:30 h at Molten Chocolate Cafe, where we started a very nice food tasting tour. I recommend it for all visitors who want to experience the local food, but do not feel confident enough to choose the dishes at the small restaurants and kiosks along the street market. We tried various dishes in the Jalan Along Night market and the surrounding area. Siddoz explained always, what were the ingredients, how to eat the dish or how it is cooked.. Very interesting tour, Thank you Siddoz!

Disappointing Service - Unfortunately, didn't get to experience this tour at all. We thought the tour was on Sunday but we had booked it on Saturday accidently, which is on us. We received an email 30 minutes beforehand with our tour guides phone details, as I thought it was the next day I didn't think too much of it as there was no other information to highlight that it was today. When the time came the tour guide did not contact me as the booker to let me know that we had missed our start time of 5:30pm. From 6pm to 8pm I had my phone on me and was checking it regularly. I did not receive any messages or calls from anyone during that time. After the day was done I noticed that someone had sent and deleted messages on WhatsApp. I have had multiple people send random things on WhatsAppa and via SMS, so I didn't pay it not mind (again I thought our tour was the following day) and I blocked the number. Again no calls were made and these messages had been deleted by the sender so I could not see their contact. If it was following us up to check where we were, why were the messages deleted? I realised in the morning when I received a request from Viator to review the tour that we had missed it. Viator support was helpful but the tour operator was not. No possibility of reschedule (understandable, though I could see that there were still spots I could book for that night just later) and no refund. I understand that 100% refund would be unreasonable as someone spent their time waiting for us. The part that has prompted this review to be written is that the tour operator did not try to call us or get in contact. If those deleted messages were the "contact" why were they deleted? This was a private tour so it was just us and I would expect a call or some thing more. We were 20 minutes away and if we had been contacted we would have made every effort to get there. Admittedly, the initial cause of this was our mistake but I wonder what would happen if we had been lost or had gone to the wrong meeting point. Very different level of service compared to other tours booked on Viator and the other tours we had in Malaysia.
