- Petronas Twin Towers - Standing at an impressive height of 451.9 meters, the stunning Petronas Twin Towers is a globally recognized symbol of modern Malaysia. It is the centerpiece of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) development, which includes landmarks such as the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Suria KLCC Shopping Mall, luxury hotels, a mosque, and the beautifully landscaped KLCC Park. Visitors can explore the Skybridge on the 41st floor and the Viewing Deck on the 86th floor.
- Menara Kuala Lumpur - Rising majestically atop Bukit Nanas at 421 meters and 94 meters above sea level, KL Tower is a prominent feature of the city’s skyline. Its architecture reflects the country’s Islamic heritage, featuring Arabic scripts, Islamic tiles, classic Islamic floral and abstract motifs, and calming color combinations.
- Istana Negara - Istana Negara, or the National Palace, is the official residence of the King of Malaysia. This grand structure, located at Jalan Duta, officially became the National Palace in November 2011, replacing the old palace at Jalan Istana. It boasts 22 domes, with the largest dome reaching a height of 40 meters. Note: Visits are limited to the exterior.
- National Monument - The National Monument was constructed to honor those who sacrificed their lives for peace and freedom, particularly during the nation’s struggle against communism. Within the National Monument grounds stands one of the world’s largest free-standing bronze sculptures. It was sculpted in 1966 by Felix de Weldon, who also created the famous Iwo Jima Monument in Washington DC.
- Malayan Railway Administration Building - One of Malaysia’s most beautiful historic buildings, the Railway Station and Administration Building is a remarkable example of Moorish architecture.
- National Mosque (Masjid Negara) - Masjid Negara is one of the city’s most distinguished landmarks. It features a unique star-shaped dome and a 73-meter high minaret. The National Mosque is located on the edge of the KL Lake Gardens. Visitors are advised to dress appropriately when visiting the mosque, and women are required to wear headscarves.
- Merdeka Square - Merdeka Square is situated directly opposite the Sultan Abdul Samad Building and next to the Royal Selangor Club. This historic site is where the Union Flag was lowered and the Malayan Flag was raised for the first time at midnight on August 31, 1957. Since then, Merdeka Square has been the venue for the annual Merdeka Parade.
- Sultan Abdul Samad Building - The iconic Sultan Abdul Samad Building is located in front of Dataran Merdeka. This historic building houses the Supreme and High Courts. With its unique Moorish designs and clock tower, it is widely photographed by visitors to the city center.
- Jamek Mosque - Jamek Mosque, officially known as Sultan Abdul Samad Jamek Mosque, is one of the oldest mosques in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak Rivers and can be accessed via Jalan Tun Perak. Designed by Arthur Benison Hubback and built in 1909, Masjid Jamek served as Kuala Lumpur’s main mosque. The mosque features Moorish architecture.
- The River of Life - The River of Life (ROL) is a seven-year project led by the Government of Malaysia to transform the Klang River into a vibrant and livable waterfront with high economic value. Covering eight rivers with a total length of 110 kilometers, this project is divided into three major components.
