Highlights
  • Kuala Lumpur - The driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby in Kuala Lumpur city area and head to Genting Highlands. Enjoy a scenic drive through the hillsides of Malaysia and see local villages along the way.
  • Awana Skyway - Upon arrival, there will be a stop at the Skyway Cable Car for a ride on one of the longest and fastest gondola lifts in Southeast Asia to the summit of Genting Highlands. Experience breathtaking views of the mountain and forest, as if watching the forest from the sky.
  • Genting Highlands - Visit the largest family attraction, Genting Highland’s indoor one-stop theme park for adults and kids, featuring many rides and entertainment spots in a cool environment.

At the end of the day, hop onto the cable car back to the ground and the driver will transfer you safely back to your hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

  • Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park - One of the attractions in Genting Highlands that can be explored.
  • Chin Swee Cave Temple - Chin Swee Caves Temple is a Taoist temple set on a 28-acre plot of rocky forested land in Genting Highlands, frequented by locals for religious rituals and its serene atmosphere. It was built in honor of Reverend Master Chin Swee, a Buddhist monk from the Fujian Province known for his ability to summon rain and drive away evil spirits.

One of the temple’s most recognized landmarks is a nine-story Pagoda, fitted with images of Buddha and thousands of blessing lamps. Visitors can climb the steps to the top of the pagoda for panoramic views of the mountain. The temple grounds also feature gigantic statues of Buddha and Kuan Yin, as well as intricate sculptures of animals and inscriptions of ancient Chinese traditions and beliefs.

Visitors can see this temple from the cable car on the way to the top.

  • Gunung Bunga Buah - Gunung Bunga Buah is a mountain in Gohtong Jaya, a satellite town of Genting Highlands about 40km from Kuala Lumpur. At 1,430m, it offers a moderate one to two-hour climb as the trail starts high up in elevation, with Gohtong Jaya being approximately 900m. Popular with visitors from the Klang Valley due to its easy accessibility by highway, the entry point can be found at the lone farm behind Gohtong Jaya’s stretch of shophouses. The path is located on a steep slope facing some vegetable patches; ask the locals for directions if unsure. A steep but short muddy ascent later, and you will find yourself on the old trunk road to Genting.

Visitors can see this mountain from the cable car on the way to the top.

  • Genting Highlands Premium Outlets - Known as the first hilltop Premium Outlet Centre in Southeast Asia, it features about 150 internationally-renowned brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Superdry, Aigner, Coach, Furla, Hugo Boss, Michael Kors, Moschino, and Kate Spade New York.

Located just opposite the Awana Skyway, guests can shop around while waiting for the cable car.

  • Genting Skyway - Genting Skyway is one of the two cable car systems serving Genting Highlands, traveling between Gohtong Jaya and the peak of the highlands. While Awana Skyway serves as the main method of transportation, Genting Skyway operates when the former undergoes maintenance and during busy periods, such as weekends and public or school holidays.
  • Arena of Stars - One of the attractions in Genting Highlands that can be explored.

Exceptional day out with great service! - The experience at Genting highlands with the gondola ride was amazing. Great views and fantastic rides/rollercoasters. Lots of option for food too. The service provided by Asni tours and travel was excellent. Indran our driver was fantastic, very punctual, polite and professional. He was very knowledgable about the tour and sights and very friendly. Allowed us to enjoy all the experiences at our own convenience. Great day!

Cool weather and nice views - We enjoyed our visit to the Genting Highlands last month. About 1800 metres above sea level we took a cable car to the top which offered Panaromic views of the adjacent rainforest. Visibility was good with few clouds thereby giving us an opportunity to enjoy the scenery. We took the glass bottom cable which is a little more expensive but helps to beat the queue. At the top there are many things to do including indoor and outdoor theme parks for all ages. We spent more time indoors which suited our two year old Gson. On the top there are many restaurants, shops and the adventurous can hike to explore the surrounding rainforest and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Prior to visiting check the weather to ensure that you have nice weather there. Any visit to Kuala Lumpur is incomplete without visiting this attraction. Munir D.

Top of the mountain - Indran was a good guide, amicable and full of great information. The tram was a lot of fun. I was a little disappointed with the resort. It felt more like a second rate theme park and shopping mall than a destination. I had an enjoyable time but it definitely was not my preference of activities.

Afternoon in the Alps - The cable car ride was a first for us. Very memorable. The pickup wasn't where we were instructed, it was a shame that the driver never pointed out any places of interest along the trip as was advertised. It was still a great experience and many other tourists we met were friendly and made the trip more fun

Lovely day trip - We caught the 8.45am bus up from KL Sentral booking the return trip the day before. We arrived at Awana sky station and purchased a ticket each to go up in the cable car- no waiting lines. The cable car stops half way up where you can hop out and look at the Pagoda but we did not do this. We continued up to the top of the hill where there is an outdoor and indoor theme park, casino, shopping centre and plenty of restaurants and eateries. We spent 3 hours there. When we came back down we also spent time around the shops at Awana station. It was such nice cool weather and the views were very beautiful from the cable car. Well worth doing. We did notice when we came down to Awana station about 2pm there were at least 2 hundred people waiting to catch the cable cars up. My advice go earlier in the day.

A good experience - The cable car ride was ok but the views are not as good as advertised. You can take a stop to visit the Chinese temple which was very good. Amazing views and sculptures.

Nothing short of a scam - This is absolute false advertisement. From a lack of adequate preparation to extra payment, there are lots of things wrong with this package. We were told that admission tickets for Awana Skyway and SKYWORLDS theme park were included within this package, yet we were unable to avail such services. Indeed, we were told at both attractions that our tickets were invalid as they should’ve appeared in the form of a QR code, something we did not even receive. For this reason, we had to pay double from our pockets for something that should’ve been given according to this package. The only thing actually included was the transport to and from the hotel. 1/10, would not recommend.

Ripped off and Rude driver!!!!! - The worst, basically it’s a taxi service with bad attitude! Extremely rude!! When he dropped us off, we contacted viator to let them know that we are done with the taxi driver and we will not using his service to go back to our hotel but I guess the message never delivered to the tour operator, he shown up and got mad when he saw we get in to different vehicle and starting take pictures of us and before he decided to go back to his vehicle he said something rude to my elderly mother more likely harrrashing her, it was a total nightmare, we did our part to let Viator know and using our right to cut off the service and NOT demanding any refund or anything and he shown up and harassed us. Do not buy this ‘ Tour ‘
