- Sultan Abdul Samad Building - SULTAN ABDUL SAMAD BUILDING

- Jamek Mosque - MASJID JAMEK
Constructed in 1909, Masjid Jamek is the city’s oldest surviving mosque, featuring design elements inspired by Mughal architecture from Northern India. Cupolas and minarets adorn the brick walls and arched colonnades, while a 70-foot dome crowns the prayer hall. The mosque is located at the historic confluence of the Klang and Gombak rivers, the birthplace of Kuala Lumpur.
- Merdeka Square - DATARAN MERDEKA (MERDEKA SQUARE)
Dataran Merdeka is one of the city’s most significant heritage sites. The Union Jack was lowered here to mark the country’s independence from colonial rule, giving it the name Dataran Merdeka, which means ‘Independence Square.’ Activities in the area include free heritage guided walks and KL ByCycle tours.
