Book it! - We had a fabulous time with Pinar. We chose to not visit the carpet factory, leather store, pottery or jewelry store. I don’t know how we would have had time. She was incredibly informative. We visited Ephesus ruins, Mary’s House, temple of Artemis and had a fabulous local lunch that was included. I highly recommend. I have some mobility issues and they were very accommodating. Both Pinar and our driver were great! I highly recommend!!!

Great guide, great site - Ephesus was probably the most interesting antiquities site I have ever visited. The clear distinction between the Greek and Roman structures was fascinating. The scale of the place is huge and you should not miss the “Houses on the Terrace”. Tez, the quiet, was a pleasant surprise. Tez is such a great communicator of the local history. His history in the area is an added plus. Every expectation was exceeded.

Best excursion - Fusun was the best tour guide we could ask for. This tour was our favorite tour of our trip. She was so personable and knowledgeable. It was like hanging out with a friend. We had such a wonderful time learning all about their culture, ruins, & the dying artwork of families. The reviews about the hard push with carpet sells wasn’t bad at all. They of course would appreciate you buying, however, they were not pushy about it at all. I sat and talked with Fusun the whole time laughing and drinking tea. We found them very friendly and learning how pottery and carpets are made were extremely interesting. Their country is beautiful and we found their ruins by far the most realistic of what it looked like back in the day. Athens doesn’t even compare to them! Overall we had so much fun and didn’t want it to end.

Better than we imagined! - We were so lucky to have Jeran as our guide. She and our separate driver went out of their way to ensure we had an absolutely perfect and personalized tour of the area. She asked if I liked coffee (which I do) so we made a quick stop on the drive for a cup of wonderful Turkish coffee, sitting outside the cafe with an incredible view - at no extra cost. Aside from the valuable historical information of the various sites, she was willing to share quite a bit about the culture and political landscape of Turkey and how it varies across the country. Her insights were wonderful. When it came to lunch, she selected an amazing place that was safe for my wife who has celiac's disease and a severe gluten allergy. She had quite a discussion at the restaurant located next to the Heirloom Weaving Center to ensure what they served and the way our food was prepared would be safe - and it was! And so delicious! We noticed some beautiful Turkish carpets at a number of places as we walked around and we mentioned we may want to look at some. So after lunch we did stop at the Heirloom Weaving Center and were able to look at dozens of beautiful carpets (among the thousands there). Jeron was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful throughout our day. This visit was easily worth 2x or 3x the price - you'd be a fool to pass it up.

Very good tour and guide - The tour director, Alex was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about the city. He made great use of our time. The only complaint is that he took us shopping to very high end shops, beautiful goods but nothing I would shop for on my vacation. I did buy a beautiful leather jacket for $700.00 but I had to draw the line at the $10,000.00 rugs. The authentic lunch was great also.

Exceptional trip - Orkan our guide and Berke our driver made us very welcome right from the start. Met at the arrivals gate from the ship straight into a beautifully clean and comfortable van. The information while travelling to Ephesus and home of Virgin Mary was great, answering all our questions and through the ruins of Ephesus Orkan was interesting, knowledgeable and mindful of safety. Very uneven underfoot. Took heaps of photos knowing just where to get the best shots. Had lunch included, a typical Turkish lunch which was interesting and tasty. Back to town and had a couple of hours spare so off to Turkish baths where I realized I had lost my prescription sunglasses! I sent a message to Berke, as thought I may had dropped in the van getting out, immediately reply and yes I had, they then returned to the port especially to bring my glasses back. Great service, great trip, highly recommended. The personal service was the best way to go as so much information and so much easier with only the two of us. Well done,

Wonderful tour of Ephesus! - Our tour of Ephesus with Fusun was absolutely unforgettable! Her deep knowledge of the ancient ruins brought history to life, making us feel as though we had stepped back in time. From the grandeur of the Library of Celsus to the impressive Great Theatre, every stop was enriched by fascinating stories and insights. Visiting the House of the Virgin Mary was a truly moving experience, and Fusun provided thoughtful details that added to the spiritual significance of the site.
