• Ancient City of Ephesus - After meeting, we will drive for 20 minutes to the Ephesus area. We will begin our tour of Ephesus, one of Turkey’s main attractions and one of the 12 cities of the Ionian League, located near Izmir. As a port city, it was a key departure point for trade routes into Asia Minor. Walk through history along marble streets lined with remarkable public buildings, including the Baths of Scholastica and the Library of Celsus, built in the early 2nd century A.D. by Gaius Julius Aquila in memory of his father, Gaius Julius Celsus Polemanus, the proconsul of the Province of Asia. The Temple of Hadrian and The Grand Theater, built in the 3rd century B.C. and later expanded by the Romans to accommodate 24,000 spectators in the 1st century A.D., are two of the most impressive structures in Ephesus.

• Ephesus Terrace Houses - If you wish, you can include a visit to the recently opened Terrace Houses, where the wealthiest Romans lived. These houses are an excellent example of careful excavation and presentation, with spectacular mosaics and frescos.

• Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House) - If you wish, you can visit The House of Virgin Mary. Tradition holds that Virgin Mary was brought here by St. John after the Crucifixion and spent her final years near Ephesus on an isolated mountaintop. A lovely chapel has been constructed on the site, tended by Franciscans and open to visitors. It has been designated a pilgrimage site by the Pope.

• The Basilica of Saint John - If you wish, you can visit Saint John Church, where Apostle John spent his final years and was buried.

• Ephesus Museum - If you wish, you can visit the Ephesus Museum.

• Isa Bey Mosque - If you wish, you can visit Isa Bey Mosque.

• Sirince Koyu - If you wish, you can drive up to the charming old Turkish-Orthodox village of Sirince, located on a mountaintop. Here, you can enjoy the impressive vineyards and peach trees. The village offers a blend of Turkish and Greek culture, with a mosque and an Orthodox church to visit. The narrow streets are filled with women selling various handcrafts and olive oil. Another attraction of Sirince is its wine, which you can sample in small cafés.

• The Temple of Artemis - If you wish, you can visit the Temple of Artemis to see the remains of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

• Grotto of the Seven Sleepers - If you wish, you can stop at the Grotto of the Seven Sleepers.

• Kusadasi Gazi Begendi Park - Drive back to Kusadasi through Gazibegendi Park to enjoy the best view of Kusadasi town and port.

• Kusadasi - Arrival in Kusadasi. You will be dropped off either at your hotel, in Kusadasi center (100 meters from the port), or directly at the port.
