• Bayon Temple - Known as the Bayon Temple, Angkor Thom is a richly adorned Khmer temple associated with Buddhism in Cambodia. Built in the late 12th to early 13th century as the state temple of King Jayavarman VII, the Bayon is situated at the center of Jayavarman’s capital, Angkor Thom. Visitors will encounter the smiling four faces of Buddha on each tower, facing every direction. There is much more to discover in this temple area. Recommended visit duration: 2 hours.

• Ta Prohm Temple - Ta Prohm, famously known as the Tomb Raider temple, gained worldwide recognition when it was featured in the 2001 Hollywood film “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.” Built in 1186 AD by King Jayavarman VII and dedicated to his mother, Ta Prohm is renowned for the tree roots enveloping the temple. Recommended visit duration: 1 hour 30 minutes.

• Ta Keo - Ta Keo is one of the tallest monuments in Angkor. This mountain temple, constructed by Jayavarman V in the 10th century, is located just east of Angkor Thom city. It was built as a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva but remains unfinished due to a lightning strike, which was considered a bad omen by the king. Visitors can enjoy views of the surrounding nature from the top. Recommended visit duration: 1 hour.

• Banteay Kdei - Also known as the “Citadel of Monks’ Cells,” Banteay Kdei is a Buddhist temple in Angkor, Cambodia. Situated southeast of Ta Prohm and east of Angkor Thom, it was built as a Buddhist university in the late 12th century. The eastern gates feature smiling four faces. Recommended visit duration: 1 hour.

• Srah Srang - Srah Srang, located near the East Baray, is an ancient reservoir amidst the splendor of Angkor. Known as the “Royal Bath,” Srah Srang Lake in Cambodia is surrounded by lush greenery and is a popular spot for witnessing picturesque sunrises.
