Angkor Thom - Guests will be collected from their hotel at 8:00 am to purchase the Angkor pass. The journey then continues to the magnificent Angkor Thom, a fortified “Great Royal City” constructed in the 12th century by King Jayavarman VII. At the South Gate, visitors can admire the impressive statue of Avalokiteshvara, featured in the Tomb Raider movie. The tour includes the Bayon temple, known for its Buddhist style and hundreds of stone faces, as well as the Terrace of Elephants, former Royal Palace, Phimeanakas, Terrace of the Leper King, and Baphoun temple, the largest Hindu temple in Angkor Thom.

Ta Prohm - Next, the tour proceeds to Ta Prohm temple, left in its original state and partially enveloped by trees and massive roots. This temple also served as a backdrop for the Tomb Raider film starring Angelina Jolie.

Srah Srang - Enjoy a delightful lunch at a local restaurant prepared by a local chef, followed by a visit to the authentic village of Phum Preah Dak, where visitors can learn about the local production of palm cake and palm sugar.

Angkor Wat - In the afternoon, the tour visits the captivating Angkor Wat, the largest sacred structure globally and a symbol of Khmer civilization. Built by King Suyavarman and dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu, it features hundreds of wall decorations and the world’s longest bas-relief. Surrounded by a vast moat, its five towers are depicted on the Cambodian flag, offering a breathtaking view of the dense jungle from the top.

Phnom Bakheng - Conclude the day by climbing Phnom Bakheng mountain for a stunning sunset, followed by a transfer back to the hotel.

Angkor Wat Sunrise, Angkor Grand Circuit, and Kompluk Floating Village

Angkor Wat - Guests will be picked up from their hotel lobby at 4:40 am to witness the sunrise over Angkor Wat temple, an unforgettable experience. Afterward, enjoy an authentic breakfast in the Siem Reap countryside, featuring local delicacies like Num banhchok (Cambodian noodle soup) and traditional desserts such as palm cake and steamed rice dumplings with palm sugar.

East Mebon - The East Mebon is a 10th-century temple in Angkor, Cambodia. Built during King Rajendravarman’s reign, it was situated on an artificial island at the center of the now-dry East Baray reservoir. Dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, it honors the king’s parents.

Pre Rup - Pre Rup is a Hindu temple in Angkor, Cambodia, built as the state temple of Khmer King Rajendravarman and dedicated in 961 or early 962. It is a temple mountain constructed with brick, laterite, and sandstone. The temple’s modern name means “turn the body.”

Banteay Srei - Banteay Srei, also known as the “Citadel of Women,” is a 10th-century Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, renowned for its intricate pink sandstone carvings. Unlike many Angkor temples, Banteay Srei was commissioned by a Brahmin named Yajnavaraha, a counselor to King Rajendravarman II. Rediscovered in 1914, it was restored using the anastylosis method, which involves reassembling original architectural elements.

Kompong Phluk - After a hotel break, the tour resumes around 3:00 pm to visit Kampong Phluk, a commune in Prasat Bakong District, Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. The name means “Harbor of the Tusks.” The community primarily relies on fishing, especially shrimp, during Cambodia’s wet season.
