Unforgettable food adventure with Hong! - Unforgettable Food Adventure with Hong!
From start to finish, this food tour through Siem Reap was one of the highlights of my trip—and that was all thanks to our incredible guide, Hong. She was energetic, full of life, and truly brought the local culture and cuisine to life in such a joyful, memorable way.
Every stop on the tour was unique and delicious. The first two places we visited blew me away with their flavors and authenticity. The third dish needed just a little extra chili for my taste, but once I spiced it up, it was fantastic too. And trying bugs at the night market? Surprisingly spectacular—and something I never thought I’d enjoy so much!
I’d highly recommend doing this kind of tour right after you arrive in Siem Reap. It’s a safe, fun, and flavorful way to dive into the local food scene, and you’ll want to revisit many of the spots afterward.

Lovely food tour - Nice evening with Hong. Can be highly recommended. Fun to taste different dishes and hear about life in Cambodia. And you choose how many insects you want to taste on the insect tip :-)

Awesome food tour! - Sarath was an amazing guide! She was happy to answer our questions about Cambodian life, teach us about the culture, and of course take us to great food stops! She even helped take photos along the way. She also went above and beyond to text us recommendations and answer our questions throughout our trip, days after our food tour ended. The food on the tour was so good, we wanted to go back to some of the same places a few days later! This also helped us to explore Siem Reap. We loved this tour and would highly recommend it!!

Siem Reap: Local street food experience by Tuk-Tuk - We enjoyed a flawless evening of delicious and varied food stops with Phon Siha in Siem Reap. He was born for this activity! So much (positive) energy and he distributed his attention evenly to everyone in the group (5 total). We finished the evening with a drink at a really cool spot off the beaten path, Long’s Bar, which was a very nice touch to a perfect evening:).

Tuk -tuk foodie tour! - Our guide Sarath was a wonderful host!
She met us right at the hotel reception and took us on an evening of delightful tastes and treats!
Travelling by tuk-tuk to local family run eateries we sampled lots of delights! We even tasted a crispy frog!! Yikes!
Sarath was great fun and very knowledgeable. Being a local guide she knew exactly where to go!
A fab night finishing in a local bar for some Cambodian beer!!

Great host Sarath made this a fun tour - I can’t rate the host Sarath highly enough. She took us to places & eat food I’d never have known about. The food was delicious & even the tuk-tuk drive at night was enjoyable to see areas i hadn’t seen.
Sarath is naturally interested & gregarious that made this experience a pleasure

Highly recommend - an authentic foodie experience! - Hong was so passionate about food and Cambodian culture so it was a pleasure to learn her story and appreciate the history of Cambodian cuisine. She took us to off the beaten track restaurants and market stalls, that we would have never discovered by ourselves - it really felt like an authentic experience. We have done many good tours on holiday but this one really was excellent, all the food was delicious and it was extremely well organised. We had the opportunity to try Khmer noodles, snack foods and enjoy a drink with fried crickets. Hong was so lovely with excellent English and we enjoyed spending the evening with her! Would recommend!
