Kompong Phluk - The final stop is one of Cambodia’s most intriguing floating villages. Families here live entirely on the water, surrounded by towering stilt houses and dense mangrove forests. A visit to a Buddhist monastery on an artificial island offers a unique experience.
Banteay Srei Temple, Banteay Samre, and Angkor Wat
Banteay Srei - Depart for the jewel of Angkor, Banteay Srei, known as the “Citadel of the Women” or “Citadel of Beauty,” likely due to its size and intricate decoration. Unlike the major sites of Angkor, Banteay Srei was not a Royal Temple but was built by the king’s guru. Often described as the jewel of Khmer art, Banteay Srei is a temple of great beauty, surprising visitors with its miniature scale and exceptional decoration. On the return from Banteay Srei, visitors will see the beautiful brick temple Pre Rup, which predates the sandstone temples.
Banteay Samre - After visiting Banteay Srei, the tour continues to Banteay Samre. Located 400 meters east of the East Baray, Banteay Samre is a Hindu temple in the Angkor Wat style, built during the reign of Suryavarman II and Yasovarman II in the early 12th century.
Srah Srang - A lunch break will be taken here for about an hour to enjoy authentic local cuisine.
Angkor Wat - In the afternoon, the tour proceeds to Angkor Wat.
Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, Preah Khan, and Ta Prohm Temple
Angkor Thom - After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, the tour heads to Angkor Thom.
Bayon Temple - Following the visit to Angkor Thom, the tour continues to Bayon Temple, known for its four-faced towers.
Angkor Archaeological Park - A lunch and refreshment break will be taken at Angkor Pavis Restaurant in front of Angkor Wat.
Preah Khan - In the afternoon, the tour visits Preah Khan Temple.
Ta Prohm - The final temple visit is to Ta Prohm Temple, with a return to the hotel around 2:00 PM.
