Fun and informative tour! - We had a great time going between Angkor Wat and the other temples on the e-bikes. Our guide Raman had so much knowledge about the different temples and we learnt a lot on the tour.

Best guide you could hope for. - Angkor Wat is a spectacular range of vast temples constructed over 900 years ago. It is awe inspiring in the same way that a visit to the Roman ruins, or the Pyramids in Egypt might be. Our guide, Mr. August was extraordinarily knowledgeable and informative. At the end of our visit we felt that we knew a great deal about Angkor Wat, but also the Cambodian people, their culture and way of life. Mr.August took us off the beaten track to visit farms. He explained the local crops and produce and we stopped to see one of the farmers harvesting rice. As a trained archiologist and farmer born around the time of the Kamer Rouge atrocities you could not hope for a better guide than Mr August.

10 out of 10 for e-bike Anchor Wat tour with Mr. August! - If I could I'd give this e-bike tour of Angkor Wat 10 out of 10 it was so good and all because of our Incredibly well informed & fun tour guide Mr. August. Ask for him if you're booking, you won't regret it. He was so proud, and rightly so, of his Cambodian history, culture & traditions happy to share all his knowledge including explaining the intricacies of the Temples architecture, archaeology & history. He took us down the far more interesting back roads on our e-bikes (very easy to drive) to show us Farmers' homes, chatted to a woman working in the rice fields, tasted delicious palm cake & saw it being baked, saw a wood hand carver at work & still enough time to relax & chat over coconut drinks & fresh fruit about Cambodian flora, fauna & culture. Angkor Wat at early dawn was a beautiful sight as was the sight of our tuk tuk driver, Mr. Si, when he miraculously turned up at the right time every time with cold water & ice cold fresh cloths. The Temple visits were stunning but really enhanced by Mr. August's information & almost professional photograh taking. We were sad to say "Leahaey" at the end of the tour, a truly memorable tour - thank you again Mr. August.

BEST TOUR EVER!!! - What an amazing tour this was! Jan was the most helpful, friendly and knowledgeable guide. He gave us so much interesting information about the history of Angkor Wat and also the Cambodian culture. What surprised us also was what a fantastic photographer he was and now we have such lovely pictures to remember this fantastic and magical place. The bikes were so much fun and so easy to use and you see so much more than you would on a walking tour. Seeing the temple in the sunrise is a memory that we will cherish forever. Thank you again to Jan and also to Esal our tuk tuk driver who kept us cool with ice cold water and towels. 100% recommend this tour to anyone who comes to this area, you won’t regret it! It really was the best day of our holiday! ☺️🇰🇭

Enjoyable tour - This was a very good tour. Mr Ho is an excellent guide and very knowledgeable and our driver, Mr Sai looked after us well. We were collected at 4:40am and back at the hotel by about 1:00pm which was about enough for us but I think you can really take your time wandering around the temples. After Angkor Wat, which is the first temple on the tour, we walked to where the eBikes were for the ride to the next stop – breakfast at a local restaurant. The only issue is that we were expecting e-bikes but were supplied with scooters. My daughters (17 years and 12 years) and I have no experience with scooters and in the end it was too dangerous for us to try and learn how to use a scooter at short notice. There was no mention in the accessibility part of the website that experience with scooters was necessary. An e-bike as I understand it is a bicycle with assisted motorised pedalling – that’s a misunderstanding on my part. The reviews also mentioned using bike paths but we were going to be travelling on the main road with traffic. Mr Ho and I decided it was too dangerous, so we just reverted to the tuktuk. I raised this with the tour operator and they were very approachable. The tour of the village and the palm cakes was really interesting and the cakes were delicious. The wait for the sunrise is over an hour and it can get quite crowded at the reflection pool – I don’t know that I’d wait that long again crouched down at the front of the crowd BUT the sunrise was spectacular. And, of course the temples were truly incredible.
